    Hi Jak, what a bonny baby. My dd1 looked like the green thing off star wars when she was born!!! She is a beauty now (not all bias). Just do what you feel like doing and if that is cuddling him all day, then do it. Who cares what the house looks like?

  • Its a daunting prospect being in charge alone of a newborn and your probably still a bit tired. I remember bursting into tears when I brought my first born home thinking I couldnt/wouldnt cope out of the hospital. Now shes a stroppy but healthy 10 year old so must have done something right!

    Im sure youll be absolutely fine but theres always someone or here or other newmums sites that can listen/help if you need. Youll probably do so well you wont give us lot a second thought!

    Hi everyone. Well it went really well! I'm so chuffed. I even managed to wash my hair and have a bath while he was sleeping- am VERY proud of that!
    Thanks for all the kind thoughts.
    Will update when have a minute...newborns are exhausting aren't they!!!
    When will he sleep through the night i wonder?
