Hi Ras....well like i said i emailed them and left a number and they still havent been in touch with me.0

Round and around we go......
Just had post from AK one was a compliment slip type of thing with a reference number for me to phone them! The other was a letter with copies of 4 letters they sent me, they are saying I am being 'uncooperative' in not phoning them.
They are claiming that they need me to provide past addresses to prove it matches with the CCA they claim to have before they can send it to me to avoid breaking Data Protection Act.
Sounds reasonable until you realize they have already returned my £1 Postal Order, ignored all my letters stating I will correspond only in writting, plus if they cant send me a CCA because they say they need to prove the debt belongs to me then why did they send me a demand for payment of this alledged debt and are still attempting to enforce it?
These people are starting to make me angry now.0 -
It should come as no surprise to anyone that AK, and many other DCAs, scour this forum. In fact they have often been known to 'plant' their Trolls here, with the sole intention of trying to discredit the advice and help offered by the genuine DFW posters.
In spite of their best efforts, AK and their ilk can not ignore the Law unless they are prepared to accept the consequences for so doing.
True the 'letters' may be the same, but that really does not matter. Indeed it is better that we use a professional letter that is 'tried and tested', rather than attempt to write individual letters that a legal beagle could 'drive a bus through'.
So keep the letters flowing.
Sorry for any confusion Rog I was refering to the letters we are getting from AK.
The template letters on this site have been very useful thus far, I thank you all.

:rotfl: .
Thats what I like to see, an ethical dca agency that loves to follow the DPA.
Maybe highlight the sections of four letters they have allready sent which have allready broke the DPA.
If there anything like the letters I get from them will be 1 or 2.Cabbage Patch 09 - 10m - 1hr 06mLeicester 09 -1/2 - 1h 26m0
