Yeah i ran it twice in safe mode and i turned off system restore aswell...no virus or anything found. Ok for me to turn back on now?

BTW - when in safe mode, it says that there are two user accounts, one is called Administrator and the other on Kapow

But when i boot normally, again two user accounts, but this time its two i recognise, kapow and guest (which is turned off) where as administrator doesnt come up?!?!

Is this nromal activity?

I ran the scans in both accounts just in case.

If you're on XP.. click Start - Run and type in services.msc and scroll down to find Infrared Monitor. Right click, properties and choose Stop and change it to Manual, if its Automatic. Bit of a stab in the dark to be honest, but no need for it to be running!
