Are you actually using a Firewall? A good software Firewall, ie ZoneAlarm should prevent this kind of thing.

Sygate is better than Zonealarm as Zonealrm has issues with AOHell

I tried Sygate for a while. and Kerio. Stuck with ZA.

Never used AOL. So if you know about the conflicts and have tested the product, Sygate it is.

LOL AOHell i didnt realise AOL was so bad?! A bit like Dell i presume lol anyway how do i turn off the INFRARED MONITOR?

Ill run those tests asap and i use ZoneAlarm (not pro) anyway ill try the tests aswell keep up the posts!

BTW - I updated AVG Free and AdAware and ran Spybot *2, AdAware *2, AVG*2 (All Full System) and i havn't had the BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) For over FIVE HOURS!!! (Before it would crash randomly!) I can play FARCRY now and even though it never lets me down on farcry, even after this long its cool!

Two questions, did you use AVG in safe mode as above

did you turn off system restore before using Adaware then turn it back on

i.e right click my computer icon, properties,system restore,turn off
run a scan then turn back on.
