Thanks, wow, it feels like it has been a long day!! Not done anything in the house, LOL!

I was worried about that SC, they are all shocked about what has happened and have seen me give the others away so I am sure that this side would be fine but this was why I was going to leave the food outside and just check they were OK. I would give the neighbours my mobile because they would then call me if there was any problems with them - it is nice living around here in that way. Although my neighbour can be a bit funny (when we had kids she put a 6 ft fence up but has this platform so she can talk to me when she wants, LOL) it is not so bad and there is a nice feeling around here. Until my other neighbours srat playing their drum machine and elctric guitar and then I thank the lord we are being evicted, LOL.

Thinking of you - I really hope that one of the houses on the list will be suitable. It's been a long haul.

aww i hope things work out for you, let us know your progress, hugs x
  • If you're worried about gettuing back in to the house, why not move the fridge into the shed whilst you need these 'arrangements'? Even if the shed has no electicity, I'm sure it would be quite easy to run a power cable across from the house, especially if your OH is skilled in DIY.

Its also easier than having to meet your sister there every day.

Nice for some people to get a 3-bed house for free.

The rest of us have to work everyday to pay for you. I spent three hours standing on a platform today waiting for my train to come so that I could get home from work and back in the next day to pay for your house while desperately saving for my own one to start a family in while also paying taxes for your grace-and-favour home.

I hope you are grateful to the poor sods who have to work for a living and aren't as privileged as the landed chavtry.

Bf109, have you read BM's main thread? do you even care that you might be upsetting someone who is in a difficult position???

her mother is kicking her out,
she and her husband made the house fit to live in and maintained it, now they are being told to get out.
how does this make her unworthy of council help?

does the fact that she cares for her family and looks after them make her less of a person?

i personally am in awe of how strong she is and how well she is coping. i don't doubt i'd struggle if something like that happened to me and there's only me and my OH to shift around, let alone having two children, (one who has some problems).

just because you've had a bad time don't take it out on someone else!

When the OP pays for me to live in a 3 bed house then I'll take it easy.

It is the most appalling injustice that one section of the population have to commit their life savings and get eye-deep in debt for decades while working themselves into an early grave to have a house while the other section of the population get a free house and free income paid for by the former.

I'm sorry, but I dont see how that right. Its simply unreconcilable with any concept of natural justice.
