Thing is though buffy, even though it might cost, your health should come first. Is it going to be done on the nhs? Have you looked into seeing if you're entitled to any help?...I like my coffee black, just like my metal!

I have a private dentist and I am very, very scared of needles. when I had to have a tooth out they referred me to the NHS to have it out under general anaesthetic (via gas). It was the only way I could have had it removed but it was free. You might be able to do something similar.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

nhs dentists round here are, well non extentant. plus I am really nervous and so they don't want to take me hence private, I have lost the tooth as it has now cracked and can't be fixed so I have to have an implant. mega bucks.
I guess I don't have to have an implant but I don't want to thirty something and toothless! am already skint!!
the good news is they can't do it for three months, so I have some chance to save up work, go on the game etc for the cash.

I was referred to an NHS hospital rather than an NHS dentist for the op (finding an NHS dentist in London is 'challenging' in parts where I have lived but now I trust mine so much that I don't want to change back to NHS - she is marvelous).£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
