2 yr plan seems reasonable (good luck with the parents, I only managed 6 months with them about 7 years ago, but we do have a *special* relationship, I love them and they are wonderful but they drive me insane)
Hello red, relax!
And yeah the plan is reasonable, the parents are very cool. Plus I live rent free (though do MUCHOS housework / errands etc and have also offeed rent at many times before the trolls turn up. The boy already rents, so I usually escape there at weekends when / if I'm not working. So they''re pretty cool.
But still, it's been lovely this year being all grown up! Plus I went to uni a lil later than m friends (i'm 23 1/2 now) and they're all finished / engaged / married etc! feeling somewhat left behind, but ho hum haha....I like my coffee black, just like my metal!

Poor, the job is in University admin which is what I do already but is a step up to being a line manager - something I've done on and off but only informally. Biggest problem is that I just get incredibly nervous at interviews - and so in the lead up to it I worry about how nervous I'm going to be!!
Oh and am sick of being told I'm good enough for jobs but "someone else has a bit more experience" - grr!
Did try to post the lovely David picture up but if it didn't show it's on here - http://davidtennant.albumpost.com/album397 - I particularly like the one on the left... ooh those eyes!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
m&s youve got PLENTY of time to settle down
as you probably know being bright an all that
i on the other hand am not all that an dull
im 27, practically married, rented house 2 kids
i found it out the 'hard' way! xI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
For Red!
And yeah I know, that came out wrong, wasn't particularly the settling down (though a bit of bling always goes down well haha), just want to move out damnit!
Red: the best thing I can say, is just when you go in, take you time. When I get nervous I spout a load of crap and talk too fast (and I want to teach hahahah) so just take your time. Remember, if you're being interviewed then you must be doing something right! Have you prepared, i.e. gone through potential questions/answers, and also asked a friend to do a mock interview with you? Seems a bit of a giggle since you know what they will ask, but it does help a little I've found. And from someone who has interviewed others, we're all looking for someone we'd want to work with!...I like my coffee black, just like my metal!

M&S - don't feel too left behind at 23! I'm five years ahead of you and still not finished my degree.. and am faaar from settled down. You've got plenty of years ahead to be 'grown up' in!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
