There is a compromise possible - silk long johns! :rotfl:

This from someone who hasn't yet retired, but spent Monday morning working from home in her PINK PJs. :rotfl:

That's perfectly OK SS. Pink PJs, yes very sweet. However, if this were to be your everyday attire, I would worry for you. You can dress like this on your day at home simply because it's not the norm. Think about dressing in your PJs every day. Not good.

I so wish I could be bothered to make that sort of effort but I live out in the country and some days I don't see a soul (bar some cows and sheep). .

So, what is it with those folk up in Emmerdale. All dolled up to the nines, not a hair out of place, what looks like designer gear, huh!, then when they all turn up for coffee in a thriving cafe/shop/post office in a village of less than three dozen houses, not a smell of pig-shot ........................of here I go again, rambling on. I bet there isn't such a place as Emmerdale, I bet it's all make-believe.

At 52 I'm not quite retired yet (just redundant and job hunting at the moment) but when my time comes I'm going to get one of these (or maybe 7, one for every day of the week):rotfl:

that was funny and out of the blue. I guess you are monitoring my adventures. My FREE bus pass may well gather dust for a few days ads we will shortly have our daughter home with her car.

Don't worry chesky, I wouldn't dream of going out in them, and they're not really warm enough to wear all day every day in winter. Although I do have a seriously thick pink fluffy dressing gown which I've sometimes been known to put on over my clothes in the evenings!
