Apart from the zapper that I put a link to earlier , there's also THIS on the Robert Dyas site. Don't know how effective they are though
    Thanks very much Sheel :T

I've got the exact same thing but it's up in the loft. We'd forgotten all about it!

So, I've just saved £9.99, (or will have when O/H goes in the loft ;))

    Many thanks.

  • Apart from the dreaded aerosols, what else kills house flies?

Just use the aerosols. As long as you use it inside it won't harm the environment

Spray a bit of Raid to kill them - I do that with big spiders as I can't stand them (even to splat - I let the spray kill them, then they curl up and are easy to get rid of - plus you get to see a slow and painful death) :D
  • I just catch the daddy long legs (unless the dog gets them first!!) and throw them back outside. For flies, I am using fly papers. Ugly yes but they do work!
  • I pick them up by a wing take them to my friendly spiders webs in the garden, they love em!
  • I had dozens of the darn things in the house last night, they kept flying low and attacking, getting stuck in my hair, drove me blinking nuts. I just got out the Pledge and spritzed them one by one and then got the Dyson out. I reckon there was about 10 altogether, and a moth or two, oh and one down the back of the sofa, all in the Dyson now.
