I thought my budget was completely blown this month:o I think i may just squeak under though if i'm careful, did my shop for the week and it came to... £24.30:beer: I had £56 pounds to do me til the end of the month, so £28 per week, so pleased i am still on track:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Evening All
I'm back from hols having had a lovely time in very sunny Wales, to our amazement even managed a couple of days on the beach
Anyway back to the grindstone........
My tesco.com delivery to the holiday cottage was £98 altogether. This provided us with all breakfasts, 4 out of 7 lunches and 6 out of 7 evening meals, plus quite a few bottles of wineand lots of treats and ready meals for minimal effort. Previously we have spent loads more on eating out. We didn't really have a budget to spend on hols so in theory we could have eaten out for every meal. So I've really thought about whether it's fair to include the full £98, and have decided it's not. So instead I'm going to include £45 which is my weekly target. Hope nobody minds
.
Went to morrison's today to stock up on F&V, milk and other bits and pieces spending £28.45, this should last me the week .
I haven't had the chance to catch up on the threads whilst I've been away yet, 19 pages is a bit of a tall order , and that's on 40 posts per page  . Maybe when I've got a few days to spare :rotfl:0 -

Welcome, make this your new home :rotfl:Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -

Just popped in to update sig.
We have spent 133.00 already this month - but that has included a greggs lunch, chippy tea, McDonalds and a pizza hut buffet this week as we have been fitting a new kitchen. It also includes a trip to Mr A earlier. I haven't included the £14 spent on a takeaway last night as it was for our 2 year anniversary meal.
The good news is I have made a list of all the food in the house and we have enough in for 14 meal. All I will need to but next week is milk and fruit.0 -
pink princess you can get a jar of tesco value mixed herbs for 22p. You can use these in place of other herbs until you have built your store cupboard up a bit more. Standard jars of herbs are normally about 60p and I find dried better than growing them yourself.
Have you tried twinks yet?
