    In my business dealings I estimate the average LL has about 30 - 40% equity, in thier portfolio.

    I guess seeing it dissapear makes them feel poor. Of course those with a brain would have sold near to peak - I've got no brain but even a twit like me knew to sell up my modest B2L show.

    That showed that UK house prices rose by 0.7% in April compared with March, although annual house price growth was down from 5.2% to 4.9% over the same period.
