yes it is getting really bad i live in new eltham and its also dire their.you look in the estate agents and their twiddling their thumbs.i agree they overprice houses round our area a 3 bed semi round the corner from me is up for 450000 such a crazy price no wonder its been on the market for over a year.
Yes, I'm local to New Eltham and the situation there looks bad. No closures, but there seems to be a lot of staff turnover and reduced opening hours.
Chattertons valued a semi in Thaxted Road for £430 last year, and it's now on with TgBaynes at £360, still unsold after many months.
Cockburns in the parade on Green Lanes towards the ponds in Chislehurst has shutdown too.0 -

.
Think of a ridiculously high figure. Double it. And then add a bit more on.
Hope this helps.0 -

Platinum Estate Agency Have Gone In My Village In Cheshire Five To Go...
ALL ARE CLOSED ON A SUNDAY..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
My office next month. The boss told us yesterday he has decided not to renew the lease.0
