The difference is down to choice and use of language

dealing skills (the key business skill)

People skills, aka powers of persuasion. ;) Also, how to read your customer as we don't all respond to the same approach.

I heard something I couldn't quite belive last night. The EA (trying) to sell my house has been laying off staff throughout the year as you would expect and shut one of their two shops (Small independent) a couple of months ago. Then last night I heard that the manager of the shut shop has decided now is the perfect time to open a brand new agency !!!

It is sad that anyone has to lose their job, but I would argue that there are far too many estate agents. It is only natural that now the boom is over, estate agents are going bust.
Apparently there's 3 times as many as there needs to be. The vast majority are chancers who decided to jump on the property bandwagon and spiv as much money out of the bubble as they could.

Another couple - Bethnal Green London

WJ Meade has closed its doors, with a note saying they have amalgamated into their E3 office.

Ideal Property management on Bethnal green rd also seems to have bitten the dust.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Estate Agents and sellers, still wont be advertising properties at realistic prices.. They still want 2007 prices?

If he gets into the right area and seals a low deal on rent for a long period and prices up property to sell, he will have hit the perfect time.
No point starting a new agency when property starts moving again as he will have missed the golden times.

    You don't half get about!
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.
