You've done so well so far, your going to get times when you feel down and fed up of dealing with the debt but at those times make sure you stay on here because the people will support you tremendously and get you through those low points.0

Hi Amy,
Just a quick note to say that I think that you are doing fabulously!!:p Your debt have come down significantly since January, well done!!
Oh and tell that Irish ex of yours to give back the money you so generously helped him with or you'll kick him in the liathroidi (pronounced leearoady)
see if that makes the money roll!!

:hello:
Firstly, wow what lovely weather!! :j
I had a great bank holiday weekend. And it was a cheap one too! I spent just under £10 all weekend.
I did go food shopping on Sunday, and spent £8 over my allotted budget, but i did buy things like a 4 pack of long life OJ, so i wont be buying that for a couple of weeks, and a couple of deals that i know i will eat and will last me. :T
A few more things have sold over the weekend on ebay, which is fab.
Looks like i might hit my target this month.
I had a nightmare getting into work today, there were over running engineering works, so unfortunately, despite me getting up bright and early, i didnt get into work until 12.30pm  I took the time i was stuck at home to do the application form for the job over the road, and hand deliver it! :rotfl: You never know, it could of been a sign!
Anyhoo, lots to do at work, so will pop back on again later.

:hello:
A couple more items have sold on ebay. I also have 9 watchers for one item, only one bid so far, but it still has 5 days to go, so fingers crossed there is a little bidding war!
I am feeling a bit restless today. Im not sure why. I think its because im worrying about paying off my debts etc. and possibly getting a job closer to home meaning a longer time to pay off the debts, but i need to think that its not a race to pay of the debts, and that if im debt free this year, or next year, it will be worth it.
I am also waiting on an old employer to supply me with Schedule of Earnings so that I can send it to the tax office to reclaim some overpaid tax etc. I have worked out it should be around £200, which will be great, and go straight on my credit card! :rotfl: All in all i may get around £500 this month to pay onto it, which would be fab.

:hello:
Been a busy little bee today!! Work is manic, im hoping for a slightly less stressful day tomorrow.
I think i may have decided that I need to stick this job out, at least for a year. I will definitely be debt free then, and able to look at local jobs without any worries about having debts to pay. It gives me a bit more "breathing room" if that makes sense.
Obviously if a local job that pays similar to what i earn here comes up, then i will jump at it! :j :rotfl:
Anyway, most of my ebay items are ending today. Looks like i will be relisting 16 of them  I may have to make them bidding ones as oppose to buy it nows, but some money is better than no money!
Have managed not to actually take any money out of my bank this week, which im dead chuffed about, so that means i still have £50 that i can spend (but wont!!). I even turned down a night out on Friday cos i know it will get a bit OTT, so im having a takeaway and DVD night for myself (and the cats!).
It also means i can go food shopping on Saturday and i probably wont spend half of that £50 as i "stocked up" last weekend. :T
I havent heard from my old employers re: Schedule of Earnings so will get onto them ASAP as the sooner i send my letter of to the Tax Office the sooner my rebate could come!

:hello:
Well the "sticking to my budget" is actually going very well. Im not necessarily depriving myself of everything bad, but realising i cant have everything i fancy! :rotfl: Its quite a learning curve.
I have done quite well on ebay recently (see my signature) but still have a few bits and bobs to sell, so will list those as soon as i can (one night this week probably).
I have also spoken to my old employer about my schedule of earnings, and he said the reason the tax office hasnt got a record of them is because they havent submitted their tax return thingy yet (they have until 19th May). As soon as they have done that, i will ring the tax office again, and then see what needs to happen. So i may get a nice big rebate in the coming months! :T
Having some problems with regard to the council and my balcony but fingers crossed they will get sorted out with the help of my new boss.
Anyway... thats about it really.

Well im feeling very tired today, but my sister is coming over for an hour this evening, whcih will be nice (neither of us has much ££ so we vetoed going out for a portion of chips to share and some bread... mmmmm chip butties!)
My boss has written me a letter for the council re: my balcony and the £3.5k bill they sent me! Its a very good one (he is a surveyor) so fingers crossed something comes out of it (good that is not bad! :rotfl: ).
I need to list some more items on ebay, as my money making has come to a standstill. not good.

:hello:
Feeling very down today. Think its a mixture of tiredness and it being "that" time of the month.
I just want to curl up in my pjs, with some nice food, and watch some rubbish TV! Roll on 5.30pm! :rotfl:
No more money to add as yet, but fingers crossed i will list some more items on ebay over the weekend and get some dough for that.
