My Shiny New Diary!!

Had a minor blip this afternoon. Because i got paid by cheque yesterday (new job), my DDs that are due out tomorrow arent going to make it.
After some mild panicing i cancelled my DDs, and will reinstate them when the cheque clears on Friday.
I checked my credit file and its not great at all. I had a debt on there i dont even know where it came from (well i do, clothes, but i dont remember it!). Its for Next. I need to phone the DCA it has been passed to with my customer number tomorrow to pay it off (well actually i think it will be Friday as the cheque hasnt cleared! :rotfl: ).
BUT im ready and roaring to start the May £10 a day challenge. Its the first time i have been hoping nothing sells on ebay until tomorrow! :rotfl:
And i am a bit mellow now as a guy in the office bought me a chocolate dip as i looked all stressed! :j

I have just completed my new and improved, brightly coloured and automated Excel budget thingy!
:j
I have even added a bit to tell me how much i have per week, and when i fill it in with what i spend in a day, it tells me how much i have left for the week. That way i can budget a bit better.
:T I cant wait to start filling it in (with as many NSDs as possible obviously! )

Morning
Well a good start to the day with lots of my ebay items selling! :j And i resisted the urge to buy a coissant this morning (they smelt soooooo good!) :rotfl:
I have just started the free bingo (Gala) and logged in (i was sure i had an account!) after much faffing to find i had £20 in there i hadnt claimed! So have just withdrawn it (in case i decide to start playing it :rotfl: ).
I wont count it on my total until its cleared in my account though.
So far, so good today... oh and it wasnt raining when i came to work!

:hello:
Well today was meant to be a near NSD but i was starving at lunchtime, and i havent been able to go food shopping at home. I went to shop with the intention of buying bread and sarnie fillings for next week, but got 2 pasties for £1.50, a choccie bar, a bag of crisps and some salt (:rotfl: ) for £3.47.
Could of been worse i suppose! But now that leaves me £25 until Monday (when i can start off with £50 again!). Hmmmm we shall see what delights asda can show me on Saturday! :T
Couple more things have sold on ebay. I have been sat on Gala free bingo ALL day with now wins! But i suppose thats because there are loads of people, never mind.
Roll on Saturday morning I say (lie in!)

:hello:
Well so far so good, i didnt go out at lunchtime so didnt spend any money! Im well on target for a NSD!
The £20 i "found" in my Gala account was credited to my bank today, so i have popped that into my savings account. :j And added it to my signature.
I have been umming and ahhing about a job local to me, and if loosing out on £140 a month would be ok. I have just looked at the application form and it has filled me with dread, but i will give it a go tonight. no harm in trying.
I was thinking that my ex boyfriend (who has moved back to Ireland) actually owes me a lot of money. He is one of the reasons i got into the £3K credit card debt  Anyway, i have no way of showing he owes me most of it, but im sure i made a payment to a debt collectors for him for £700 odd. Im on quite good terms with him, so dont want to go in heavy handed, but could do with this money back. If he doesnt agree to pay it back, do you think i have a leg to stand on? I made the payment by the CC.
Anyway... i will ask him tonight if he can pay me at least £700 back.

:hello:
I had a NSD yesterday, which really perked me up!
I also won £18 on bingo as well (using a £10 free play), so thats great!
I even spoke to my ex boyfriend yesterday and asked him nicely if he would be able pay back at least some of the money he owes me and he said he would definitely sort something out soon. I hope he does, it would cut off £1000 off my debt (at least!).
Im off out with my sister and nephew today to the Sweeps Festival in Rochester, and we are eating lunch at home first so we dont get tempted to buy anything!
Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning Amy, you seem to be doing really well. Your full ofenthusiasm, keep going and you'll have the debt paid off in no time. Glad your ex was fine about paying you back some money, whatever you get off him it'll be less that you'll have to find.
Hope you have a good, cheap day out today.0 -
Thanks GirlRacer. I hope i can keep up the enthusiasum throughout the year.
I checked the snowball calculator and it said i would be debt free in December 2009, which i refuse to believe! :rotfl:I hoping for December 2008... we shall see!
