Hi Amy. I can't believe the weekedn is nearly over as well. I've had a good day today (though I'm feeling a bit tearful). Have cut DS's hair saving hairdresser money, have waxed my own eyebrows and am going to dye my own hair in a moment.

Have also found a nintendo gamecube and a game which I have just listed on e-bay. Listed them separately so I can get the maximum amount of money for them :)

Well done on the weekly budget. Its amazing how having money over at the end of the week can make you feel so good.

Thanks GR. Sorry to hear you feel a bit tearful.

I keep crying at tv programmes that arent even sad

Well done on saving money re: hairdressers. I cut my own fringe the other day to save some money! ;)

And good luck on the game cube. Fingers crossed it sells really well for you.

    Evening

Well i had 2 items sell on ebay today, just waiting for them to pay me now.

I have taken on Hyno's advice and done a advent calendar type thing for the end of my debts and for savings for a house.

Each square is £100 and when i have made it i take a square off revealing the picture:

    Hiya Amy,

The advent calender type thing is fabulous, brilliant idea. It will give you that push to be debt free and then be able to start saving for your dream house.

Well done on the ebay sales!

    Morning :hello:

Well this morning my 2nd loan payment of the month came out (i changed my DD date to 4th from 26th and they said i had to make a payment of 4th of this month  ) ah well... it has made my debt go down, and its now even closer to being under £8K :j

I have £100 in my savings, £100 in paypal and a couple of sales on ebay. Looks like i could be under £8K this month.

I am also going to start saving some money for emergencies/christmas etc. I think i can probably manage £50 a month for that, and then £50-80 a month extra on my credit card. It will be a bit of a struggle, but if it means becoming debt free quicker, then i cant moan (well i can, but quietly :p ).
