Got into work very early, but no-one is here, so i shall plod on with the work in the hope that leaving at 1.30 wont be such a big deal.

Free Gala Bingo today so wil be on that as well.

My £420 i paid onto my CC has cleared, and it now stands at just over £2700! I dont think i have ever seen it below £3K:rotfl:

I have just spoken to my bank to change the date of my loan (from 26th to 1st/2nd) and they said thats fine but would have to be 4th.

Thats ok as long as its after payday. Then she said it would be 4th June... Means I have to pay 2 lots for my loan this month. Fingers crossed i get teh £200 rebate in my wages this month otherwise im going to be slightly skint

Council wont move the date for my rent, they say its the 28th or nowt. 28th it is then.

Not a good money day today.

    helloooO!

ive just read your whole diary and youve def given me inspiration to do something about the debts!

also if you need any help with shared ownership i know all about it. me and OH signed up to it last year in sept, starting looking at alot of different flats that come up (they come up and you are sent details on them, sadly you cant pick any flat/house you like.. well not on this one anyway) and were now moving into a 2 bedroom flat in july! sooo excited! we have debt, although its a total of 5k on one loan and one cc. i really do hope we can clear it sooner after weve moved in, but were also getting married in october!! so our plan is to save save save and then...

    1.move in, in july
    2. see whats left in the savings account and pay wedding off and then
    3. clear the debt with any money left over!! although it wont be much

we currently have 7.5k saved. as you say, we needed 3k for fees (actually a bit more) then they asked if we could give any deposit in any way, we gave/giving 1k. our wedding shouldnt come to 2-3k for us as alot of things our dear parents are paying for. so thats about 500 on debts then!!! we still have another pay day at the end of june so were hoping thatll give us another 1k in cash.. rent at the mo is 650 but part buy part rent is totalling 1200 a month! ouch! still it has to be done and we are in croydon

anyway enough about me! good luck and ill be reading on!

tell me, ive never done any bingo sites before and you seem to have alot of luck.. do you sign up and then use the free money your given for your winnings? i think im missing out a bit here....

    good luck hun! xxx

    Hi djdymond :hello:

Im glad my diary has helped you find some inspiration!

re: shared ownership, i shall definitely be picking your brain about it end of this year/next year! :D I have looked into it briefly and they (the people i will be going to, Moat) do a thing called My Choice Homebuy (a new thing by the government) which allows you to buy a house on the open market (as long as they give the go ahead etc.). So i will probably look into that way.

Congrats on moving into your new flat in July, i bet you are so excited! I havent moved for 3 1/2 years (which is a long time for me, i used to move every year!! My dad said he wouldnt help me move again for at least 4 years, so i think he will be ok to help me move next year :rotfl: )

Re bingo sites. Im rubbish at explaining but will give it a go!

Firstly have a look here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=41&order=desc

They have lots of bonus etc. for free money on bingo sites etc.

Also, join www.quidco.com. If you join them you can click through onto bingo sites like Gala etc. and get money back. I.e. if you click through to Gala and you deposit £10. Gala will give you £10 free to play with, and Quidco will deposit your Quidco accuont with £20.

I tend to only play the free money, otherwise you can get slightly addicted! ;)

If you join Gala on Thursdays they have free bingo all day. They around 2 games an hour that are completly free.

Another good site is www.winkbingo.com, you get a free bonus.

    Hope this helps.
