Quick hello :hello: and mini whinge!!! H got his electron cards today - for both the joint account and his single cashminder account. I didn't get mine :( Rang them up to make sure everything was ok, and she was lovely on the phone - said for some reason they hadn't been ordered but she would deal with it asap :D

DDs all rearranged (apart from TV Licence as waiting for them to get in touch) Am busy reading 'Claire's County Court Carry On' and loving it - really inspirational - hence me not posting very much! ;)

    Saturday 24th May

    Feels like I'm in limbo.

The money is saved - for the house and for going BR. The forms are complete, and just waiting to be printed. Waiting to hear from the house people - they said the other day that all the references had been done, but not heard anything from them since.

Have had a few phone calls from creditors - asking for a minimum payment. Spoke to Northern Rock and explained we were taking advice regarding debt, and were probably going for voluntary repossession. The woman was really nice, said she was sorry to hear that, and just said keep in touch and let them know what was going on.

H has spoken to a couple of his creditors as well, and told them about going BR. So far, none of them have been horrid. I think it's been a relief for him actually, and although my heart thuds when the phone rings at least now I have something I can say.

I guess we could start packing, but tbh without knowing when we're actually moving in, tis difficult to do and the motivation isn't there :o

Tis half term next week, so going to be a busy one with the elder DDs around, which will be nice, but also means being more discreet on the phone - don't want them hearing the BR word.

Guess I shouldn't be complaining - it's barely over 3 weeks since I started looking into this - can hardly expect to have changed my whole life in that time now can I?!
