I wonder if this is anything to do with your firewall or your anti-virus not letting it through?

I've only just found this thread :o

The spreadsheets don't work for me either :( Technically they *should* but somewhere along the line, it's coming up with 11 errors something to do with the formulas being too long or unrecognisable. Not a problem because I have my own spreadsheets anyway - but, others may encounter the same difficulty (and that would be a great pity due to the work that has gone into them)

Please may I recommend (squeaky? madfrenchgirl? ) that the file which contains a column for Pin Money be altered?

There ought to be TWO columns for Pin Money because it is actually two (different) sets of figures: *actual* PMS and *virtual* PMS :)

    TIA

In the Pin Money Table? Sure.

As for the errors you are showing - in which speadsheet? And can you tell me what software you use to read them, please?

    Thanks :D

Microsoft Works (all the items I tried to open :( They *sort of* opened, but, due to the errors it doesn't read/calculate correctly - Works supports .xls and .xlr )
Like I say, not an issue for me because I designed and use my own spreadsheets (as well as Money).

Hm. They work fine in Excel as far as I know. I'm not sure just how good works is.

Is anybody else having problems using Works?

I can only ask the authors if excel will save the spreadsheets in a format that Works can deal with properly and to email me copies so that I can put them on the web page.

So excel authors, is this possible please? :)

I've just been working on some spreadsheets in Excel so had a quick look at the "save to" options, and there's quite a list in the drop down box including, I think, Works? - WKS (1-2-3).

If I get a moment I'll type out the full list so you can see which formats might be useful to have :)
