Ok so I have used it for myself only planned for the next 2 weeks starting monday as we are going on hols at the end of the month. worked out that food would cost us about 65 pounds for the both of us... I hope to reduce that by buying as much as possible in LIDL...
Can anyone keep me informed?
I thought I could maybe spend my time entering every OldStyle recipe in the recipe s/s? If squeaky would be kind enought to provide the old time favourites to me, would save me quite some time instead of scrawling thru the website."Don't cry, Don't Raise your Eye

Everybody has different favourites and I have no idea what they are - except that many of the recipes in our Old Style Recipe Collection are somebody's favourite, that's why they are there
Maybe everyone could pick one or two that they have really enjoyed and let you knowHi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Wow this is really impressive!!!
Once it has a wide range of recipies in it, it could really help keep my impulse buys under control! I guess if you were willing tio enter some more of the archived receipies in to it, then once everyone had downloaded it themselves, they can then alter the recipies to their own taste if required.Me debt free thanks to MSE :T0 -
I've taken a look and I'm very impressed at your work
It's the sort of thing I've been looking at doing for some time now but you've done all the hardwork for me
My excel skills are fairly rusty but I know enough to be able to use and adapt this spreadsheet, so thanks
I've got quite a comprehensive one running for my monthly shopping budgets and wondering if that would be of use to anyone actually. Let me think about it and converse with our dear old squeaks and see if we can't make it available for people to d/l"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Wow, that's amazing MadFrenchGirl! Good work. Such a good idea too!
The only thing I think that would be an improvement would be to have the 'unit' next to the ingredient so you know what it is exactly.
Brilliant piece of MSE kit! xAnna :beer:0 -
Well I could do that by returning on the Tesco website, but I think my next mission is to get the prices from LIDL!!! As we all know Tesco is not necessarilly the cheapest.
As for entering the recipes, I guess I could give it a go. However, I do have a prob: I am not assigned to any work within my company but I might start soon and as some of you may already know, I am also working weekends at Morrisons so might get a bit tight on time for doing it. i will give it a try tho...

I clicked your thanks button
I'll start adding the units for you if you like? Then I can just email it over?

I am off sick today but dialing in from home so I guess I could do it!

If the recipes as given in our collection aren't already easy - then no, I don't think so, but then, I'm not really sure what you're asking for.
