    i presume you have no instant type mash or another pot to mix in and firm it up....
    if that is the case i would put the mixture into a cake tin or flan dish sprinkle over some cheese and breadcrumb/ cheese and cornflake mix or cheese and crushed crisps/tortillas (you get the idea) and cook in oven till crispy...serve cut into wedges...

    great minds think alike - I sprinkled cheese over the top and it's in the oven now and I'm even contemplating a glass of wine after all that stress! :p

    The 'bake' was a bit yuk (as I expected it would be) the taste was ok but the consistency was a bit pappy ... I guess it was all the flour I added to try and thicken it.
    Anyway main thing is we ate it and it didn't go in the bin :money: although the 3 year old was nearly sick after two forkfulls :eek::o

    Hi, this is my first time starting a new thread on here so please be kind!
    I am looking for a simple recipe for Salmon fishcakes! I have been going round and round in circles on the forums looking for one but am getting nowhere fast :(
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Try this thread :D You can use salmon in place of any other fish, if thast helps.

    I'll merge this thread later to keep ideas together.
