Portugese cafes are on the fringes of Norwich, so no temptation for me there.....it sounds as though I should stay away from them and not even TRY one of their coffees!!
Caffe Nero though, is one of those I pass every morning - but surely you can use the loyalty card yourself?
I have just started looking in the cupboards for a storecupboard type challenge - I found 4 packs of bread mix for the bread-maker!!! That is next week's pack ups for the children at race camp sorted out!!
I collected a load of the McDonalds loyalty stickers (from drinking tea) and discovered when I wanted to cash it in (for another tea) that you can only use it for coffee - so a friend of mine got two free coffees out of it! :rotfl:
Well done on getting the bread out of the store cupboard and used!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Actually, Mcdonalds lattes are not too bad (I have them to keep me awake on the way to ski races) so perhaps I should aim for there instead of the more expensive options, at least some of the time!
Have just done an online shop to be delivered on Tuesday.......managed to do what I reckon will be a 2 week shop, for £99 with a discount code from MSE for £13 off :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hypno this is FANTASTIC! :T:T:T With this attitude you're going to smash even your new DFD. I am with you on the dream house thing. We found ours three years ago - I was just past 40 (it is a good age whatever people say!!) - it needed work and is the reason we are back in debt (more work than originally thought!) but it is a keeper. We can be here forever quite happily. And like you I know that we have the equity in the house to cover the mortgage and the debt if we really needed it.
I think your plans are great - I may knick that idea and think of a few targets for myself. Realistic definitely and good incentives to work on. Go for it girl!0 -

I only drink tea - coffee increases my pain! but as tea from a chain goes McD's isn't bad!
Well done on the on-line shop! :T can you use that discount code again or is it a one off?Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Thanks Mizmir - there is a particular road that I would LOVE to live on, but unless I buy a one bedroom flat there, I have a heck of a lot of saving to do. That is my absolute dream but that is probably out of my reach. I went to visit a house there once as a little girl, and was obviously won over at that point - it has been my dream ever since.
I will, however, be a little more realistic, and although that is my ultimate dream, other roads are pretty close in the list of "appropriate dreaminess"
The Dragon - I am not sure if that code is reusable - I just grabbed it off the freebies board while I found it!! There are loads on there at the moment!!

The luxury of being able to eat normal food!No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

I can eat anything as long as it has no carb content.........makes it quite expensive because we have a lot of fish and meat, because we can't bulk it up with pasta, rice or spuds etc.
And I miss the yummy cakes and biscuits........Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
