I love hearing that you've been able to close down one element of your debt, hypno - like when that loan that you were paying £200 a month for ended recently. Very glad to hear of this one too - it will be gone soon, I'm sure.
Earthquakes and tropical storms. I think "dull" might be good in this instance!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Yay @ getting Egg under £1k! I don't know why Egg didn't just go the whole hog and send cards out that sing 'You are a Deadbeat' when you open them!
Surfbabe - sorry to hear your bad news - this sort of thing is always worse for being unexpected. Thoughts are with you and yours. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

I have been keeping myself to myself this last week, didnt want to be all doom and gloom. Surfebabe sorry to hear about your cousin. Makes me feel guilty that I am running on depressed since the burglary. I will have to remember that things are really not so bad for me.
I have just opened my wage packet, which should be in the bank tomorrow, and I have a bonus £249 (less tax etc of course). I knew it was coming, but it was good to see it in writing. Tomorrow it will be even better to be able to see it in the bank.!
Love to all that are going through the wars. Thank god for MSE where we can all compose ourselves, help each other along the bad times, and rejoyce when we have the good. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

I am sooooo tired!! Just got in from doing the karate admin job........I have bunged some fish fingers under the grill for a sandwich and then I will probably collapse in bed!
Mooloo - that is good news about the bonus.
El, yes, I feel more on top of the finances at this point in time than I have done for a long long time.......I just hope it lasts until I have been in control for long enough to either pay a couple of things off, or to get a bit of "emergency cash" in......just in case!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hi Hypno and all
Surfbabe - so sorry to hear your news, my sincere condolences to you and your family. A friend of mine committed suicide a few years back - it seems to bring with a whole extra set of emotions on top the usual feelings of grief. Anger being the main one, as he left behind a girlfriend of many years and a 2 year old daughter. Big hugs to you.PigginSkint's debt free diary
