Morning - hardly slept last night, so feel dreadful this morning. Went to see Mamma Mia yesterday evening - its cheesy but fab - but got home and received the news (this was at 10.30) that my cousin had committeed suicide on Sunday night. Still in shock at moment.

Anyway I hope you all have good day - i'm going to see my lot at the Jamboree and then going to take my mum out to tea when I have to tell her about mycousin as she doesn;t know yet.

This is terrible. I was all set to commiserate with hypno for the middle of the night thing, and then glory in the whole Mamma Mia experience (my sister and I took our mum to see it last year) and then, oh surfbabe, what awful news you've had - I'm not surprised you slept so badly. Very sorry to hear your news, and that you've got to be the one to tell your mum. Take care of yourself as well today. All the best.

I did manage to go back to sleep but only for an hour, and to be honest, it may have been better if I had just accepted that I was up and got on with it rather than trying to get some extra kip in!

Oh well......coffee will be the order of the day and I will be fine!!

So, moneywise....I can pay the cheque in from the student today, and then tomorrow OH gets his final pay from his "old" job.......he starts his new job on Monday so that is well timed.

Still only got 99p bid in on ebay but have 16 watchers and one guy asked if I would sell it on a buy it now, but we decided to stick with the auction - hoping for about £20-25 at the end of the week on that one.

She got them online at HQHair - went through quidco, although I think you can also go through pigsback if you prefer points.......

They were good value and with the cashback added in end up cheaper than other places - we ordered them on Sunday and they arrived yesterday (Tuesday) so very quick in getting them to us.

Needless to say, DD is very happy!

Morning all-Yes we're in LA-yes the earth most definitely moved today (5.8 on the richter scale apparently) but hey it wouldn't be a holiday without-fire, flood pestilence or earthquake eh ?

Blimey - earthquakes for duchy....tropical storms for chev......makes my life seem rather.......dull!!!

Just nipped back on to say I have paid £220 off the egg card (the one that is "frozen" as part of their "streamlining of customers" process :mad: ) with some of the extra money that has come in this week.....anyway, that balance is now down to £986.55.......so hopefully will all be gone soon!
