Hi Hypno, i got my credit back on the electric and gas as well..i would certainly look at capping your bill, because you never know with these prices at the moment..we use Eon and are capped until 2010 and also get a duel fuel discount. They have just lowered our bill as well to what it was at the beginning of the year..so we are now paying £60 for both, and i also kept a bit of the credit on so we will be in advance for the autumn.

Hi guys......well, this months finances may just be sorted......OH will be paid all his pay in lieu of notice at the end of this week, and it covers our deficit and leaves a tiny amount to carry forward into the next month.......so that is good because when the money is in the bank, I can number crunch, pay the bills and breathe just a little.
Then, I got home tonight after football, (we lost 5-1! but it was a good evening, and pizza express was delish and even better because it was free!) and in my post was a cheque for £200 from College as a refund of fees because I didn't complete the year!!!!!
I am now expecting to be asked to repay some of my grant......but I will cross that bridge when I come to it.......and in the meantime will use the £200 to my advantage
And I have a bid of 99p on ebay.........:cool:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
