Not much to add really but just wanted to send a (((hug))). Would it help to go back and look at the position you were in 2 years ago, and see the enormous difference? At that stage you were hugely in debt through absolutely no fault of your own, and you must have felt pretty wretched at some point. You have pulled yourself out of that situation with grit, determination and sheer bloody-mindedness, and have done it in such a positive and inspiring way that you have an army of friends and admirers, willing you on to be debt free, which WILL happen in the next couple of years.
You are having a horrible few weeks but they will pass - have faith in yourself and don't give in, you have come way too far. When the debt is gone, you will look back at moments like these as the defining moments, when you could have thrown the towel in and gone bankrupt, but you didn't, you pushed on through the hard times and you found a way. And you will be proud of that.
So chin up, be brave and just keep swimming. We are all here to hold your hand or give you a swift kick up the rear, whatever it is you need from us.....and we will still be here for your debt free party in 2010. :T
Take care xxx"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Night Hypno,
On a practical note could you apply for a cc in time to pay the car insurance or if not that something else which would free up cash in the bank account to leave enough to pay the insurance from there? Failing that can you ask the bank for an increase in overdraft facility for this month only? I know you have the money for your 3 week student coming soon which will allow you to pay off the cc or overdraft so I'm not suggesting increasing your debt (and we all know how disciplined you are and how quickly you'd repay any such borrowed funds)
Just a thought,

Mornings come round too quickly!!!
Much coffee needed today I think. I will be taking my latop with me today, so a bit of a chance for a catch up through the day......:D
Verbatim, no chance of a credit card - I have even been turned down for a vanquis card  .........great........and I have already tried the overdraft thing - they won't increase my overdraft but they will honour the payment.......great...will just cost me £30 for going into unauthorised overdraft.
ah well, if bank charges reclaim is ever sorted, then I will get at least some of that back :rotfl:
Anyway, will try not to wallow any more about it today - I have got to shake myself out of it.
Hope you all have a good one and that the sun is shining for you xxxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
