Hypno's "bursting with energy" diary.......

Oh hypno, today has been bad as well for you, I'm sorry.... I wish I could help, I was thinking about you on my way into town. Don't feel pressured about needing to be positive - your diary, your needs. I hope tomorrow feels better.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi Hypno, just sending you a hug, what a cr*ppy few days. I think you're entitled to have a little wallow, after all if you didn't 'feel' the bad times then you wouldn't have the motivation to work towards having more good ones. I hope that makes sense, am half asleep here, but I know what I mean

Thanks taxi, and KC......I just don't think I am in the right "place" at the moment - we all have times like this, don't we? Sometimes for an identifiable reason, sometimes just because we are due some crapness! But we all work our way through them and plough on, and this will be no different.
In the meantime, I go from tears and a head full of pressure, to "get your act together missus" activity........of which today I have had lots of each!
On a bad note, just had one of those "mother/teenage daughter" arguments that I more than certainly had with my mother at the same age, and I know is just part of the job description of being a mother with a teenage daughter....
.....but on a better note, have made some lovely roasted vegetables out of the "free veg" from my friend, and made a bolognese sauce for the freezer.
Tomorrow is ski racing........again......no restSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

oops, you snuck in while I was typing - yes what you say makes perfect sense.......thanks for the hugs xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hypno you're right we all have them times... You know you'll get through it as you said but be kind to yourself in the mean time.
Can you not have a day off the ski racing tomorrow? Could OH take the children and you stay at home or maybe a grandparent so you can chill for the day?
KM x0 -
No day off from it.....tempting though it may be - I am helping out because it is at our home slope, and I help out because in return I get free skiing for the children, so it is quite important that I do.
That's how they manage to ski so much - OH and I both work for free there, in return for "ski hours" and the same for karate - I do the admin in return for them getting free lessons.
If the budget allowed, I would happily drop one/other/both and just pay like normal people do.....but it doesn't....so I can't.....and I've heard that being normal is over-rated anyway, so don't know that I want to try that......Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Oh I see I didn't realise you helped out so theres no delegating to family members then, shame. I'm glad you're able to do this to keep them skiing though as obviously this is really important to all of you.0

At least my job tomorrow is indoors, so weatherproof - today I was outside and got absolutely wet through!! Nice!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Aargh, you got wet as well? No rest.... at least my CPD was indoors. And my supermarket shopping. Indoors is good. And dry!
And I can personally vouch for the universality of mother/teenage daughter arguments. Oh yeah.
I know you can't skive at ski club duty, but I hope you can take it as easy as possible.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
