knowing the background, good for him!!!! :D but GAH! to the finances!!! i know that you'll come through it fine and always here with free coffee (now i've bought some) if needed. You two are so resourceful he will shortly have something else lined up to bring the money in.
Big hugs coming your way! xxx

:rotfl: we thought life was getting just that little bit too comfortable, so we thought we had better do something to shake things up a bit :rotfl:

In other news......came home to find myself booked in for 2 adult ed workshops in October - 4 hours work that will be lovely and easy to do so I am looking forward to that, and the hourly rate for them is quite good too, so def worth giving up a Saturday for :T

Sorry to hear the news from the Hypno household but I do think principles are very important and it's good that you are supporting him. Nothing worse than working, hating it and ruining your home life. You're doing brilliantly anyway at debt busting, and I'm sure as ever you will find a solution.

    Good morning!

OH got up early to go and do a day in his second (or should that be only!) job, so I thought I would get up, have a coffee...or two....and get on!

So, today's list looks a bit like this:
    • 3 clients to see
    • go for lunch with Mum and the children, (her treat for DD birthday)
    • enter last 4 mystery shops online
    • do clicks and surveys
    • check online banking
    • start re-doing SOA in view of changing stuff
    • get at least one thing on ebay
    • do a mystery bet before they take my freebie away from me
Have a good day everyone! Happy Debtbusting :D

    Morning Hypno!

Glad I'm not the only one up this early on a Saturday morning! OH is still snoring!!! Houseguests have not yet emerged -- think they are worn out from doing touristy things!

Best of Luck to Mr Hypno in finding a new job & good on him for sticking to his principles!!! I'm sure he feels much confidence in his decision knowing that you back him 100%.

Shall join you with a cuppa (ok make that two or three) & attack all the mystery shop invites that seem to have piled up overnight!

Thanks taxi - it is something that has perhaps been brewing for a while at OH work.......and I am, I suppose, relieved in a way that it has been resolved (although being resolved in a way that you can stay working would also have been good!).

So, we enter yet another new chapter........!

I have checked online banking and see that I have been paid today :j That is my first full month basic salary (no bonuses or anything exciting) so I can now see what I have to "work with" as regards the finances. I think I am going to be busy all day, but this evening I can sit down with the spreadsheets etc and get number crunching I think!!
