Well done Hypno - I got paid today from No2 job and by 7.30 this morning had transferred half to savings and half to loan account. First month I've been able to do that for a while.

Have done shopping, rung my mum as its her birthday and now have to clean bathrooms.!!

Well, today has taken a bit of strange turn.........basically OH has resigned from his job - on a matter of principal.

Now, I am totally 100% behind him on this.........but of course he now has nothing lined up to go to, and matters of princpal don't pay the bills.

So......we have to spend the next however long working through the unknown.....we will survive, as always, but talks of overpayments again may have to take a back seat.

I have every confidence that he will be working soon, and he has yet to negotiate notice terms (we are hoping for "gardening leave") so more will be known next week.......

......ah well, another exciting day in the roller coaster life that is the hypno household

Oh my goodness - life is never dull, is it?

Good luck to OH in finding a new job - and to you in filling the shortfall meanwhile.

Thanks Seaxwyn - I am determined not to say "one step forward, two back", and I am certainly not angry at him leaving at this time.......but.......!!!

Anyway, I am well versed in the art of getting through the month without knowing where the money is coming from, or at least I should be by now!!

Good grief - its all happening here - Is it too nosy to ask what OH's job was?

Hope he gets things sorted soon and no doubt you'll keep smiling outwardly at least !

    We're all behind you here.

Crikey hypno, you really seem to take things in your stride. Your resilience is amazing and your loyalty to your OH despite the money worries really lovely.:D

You know I'm glad that despite your obvious determination-as a whole family-to debtbust that principle came first-sometimes it IS more important than money !
Sending heaps of good karma vibes your way Hypno-what would this DFW journey be without the blips anyway !!
