yes, plenty left over for one or two more attempts at money making!!!

I also have a £4.99 bid on ebay, so that is a good start.

Evening Hypno and anyone else about.

Good news about your sons medal and the bids/car boot money. LIke you say every penny counts and more money than you had at the start of the day.

I am having a bit of a second LBM this weekend as although I am reducing my debts and not adding to them at all I feel I am drifting a bit.

I was thinking of starting my own diary as I find yours and others so motivational and I am wondering if I write it all day everyday it will keep me in the right frame of mind.

We are hoping to start trying for another bubs soon and if I put my butt in gear I could clear all our unsecured debt before it arrived.

I know what you mean about drifting.......it is so hard to constantly stay on the focused track that is ideal for debtbusting.

I can only say that my diary has helped me no end, so if you get half as much out of yours as I get from mine, you will do well!

    Debt-free and Proud!
I'd second that. My diary gives me a lot of motivation - and a guilt trip if I don't keep coming back! Worth doing. Only downside is that I know tend to come just to my subscribed threads if I'm busy (which include lots of diaries!) and so miss things on the main boards. Let us know if you do start a diary so can subscribe! :D

    I think I will start one :D

I just look at some peoples on here and they seem to be motoring through their debts and basically I'm jealous lol

I've got to finish my assignment for my diploma then I can concentrate better. Think I will put a SOA up again as I did one when I first joined and have changed lots but you never know there still might be some room for improvement.

ooh, forgot to say that the snowball now has the DFD at November 2010 which is the month I turn 40  but is only the year after next, which does seem to be a very small light glimmering at the end of the tunnel.

Sadly (or productively, I am not sure which) I went to bed last night unable to sleep for trying to work out what I can get in, moneywise, over the next 6 months to try and bring that date forward some more.

Considering that this includes our secured loan, whereas my "old" totals didn't, I am quite happy with this DFD, but would like to see it shortened a little!!!

More ebaying.....car booting......matched betting on the agenda. I am going to set myself a £1000 a month target somehow for overpayments starting from July..............MAD OR WHAT :rotfl:

But this way I can clear the next "big" loan within a year, which would make a big difference to the totals and the way I feel about things!!

Good luck with the diary Doodledo.

I have thought about starting one, but nothing much ever seems to happen in Spud world. I just plod along and wouldnt have much to say, so no-one would be interested enough to read it :o

Wow thats a bit spooky really being your 40th birthday month. How fab would it be to be 40 and debt free.

£1000 a month would be fantastic and if anyone can do it it's you.

I think you need to take me under your wing lol

Hypno, if anyone can bring their DFD forward, it's you !!!

Must be a great feeling to know you'll be DF by the time you're 40. I'll be 40 in just over a year, and will be nowhere near DF :o
