I know that things are going ok, but it still feels as though we are swimming through treacle - and I am sure you all know that feeling!!

Like I say, I *know* that improvements are being made......the debt total is coming down.......and for the first time in months there has been the ability to overpay a small amount......and with selling the car in a couple of weeks and stuff, we should really make that progress.

I have to say I am (sadly) looking forward to 1st July - the next two weeks can't come quick enough!!! Why? Because I clear the first of our loans and I want to update my snowball!!!!

When the loan is cleared, how much will you have free a month to put on other things? I really do think that you'll be able to pay more than £20k off this year at the rate you're going!

This particular loan payment is £196.75 - so it will initially go towards the next debt to try and get something else down quicker (not sure what yet!), but it also means that in a really lean month we could use that money to pay "other" bills or put food on the table etc, so it does give us a bit of a choice.

Obviously, though, first choice is for it to go towards another debt.

As for paying off more than £20k - it would be nice, but I think I stick to the £20k target just for the moment...........

That's great - having the option to overpay, or just knowing the cash is there in case something pops up (as it invariably does). I think you're doing really well, and I'm proud of you lol

I know what you mean about wanting the next payday to come - great, isn;t it, when instead of 'OMG I want next payday I'm skint' it's 'OMG I want next payday so I pay off my debt' lol.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

  • Hi Hypno

In case you haven't seen it and I presume you are with pigsback, there is a comp on Zoflora (5pp click through) then 10 points if you enter the competition and the prize is... Wait for it.... A cleaner for a YEAR!!!

I would lurvvve to win that but I think people on here would agree with me that you deserve to win that so get entering and good luck, you never know you seem to have had a winning streak with the bingo in the past.
