    It was too heavy to send second class, so I had no choice but to send it first class!! Oh well, I will be more aware of it in the future, so a valuable lesson learned!

    It has not put me off using Amazon though - I have done ok out of it in general.......

    I am also looking at putting a couple of car boot dates in my diary for later in the month - I need to carry on this decluttering that I have (sort of) started!

    Hi hypno, well done on sales. I find Amazon easy as well, and have been caught out on a book or two postage wise, until i looked at Green metropolis, they have a handy calculator for posting of books, weights and packaging needed.
    I am still a bit wary of e bay, so will see how that goes for now. I havent listed today yet, but have a few items to go on.
    Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

    Morning all - DS is home for a few days and has drawn the early shift at the swimming pool, so as I need the car to get to work - i'm off to take hime to work!!!

    Ooh, sold another book on amazon - for quite a good price so even after horrendous postage costs, I should come out of this one with a bit of a profit!!

    The one I sold today is one I only listed late last night so I am pretty chuffed with that!!

    I have been more than happy with the selling on Amazon - I don't really have that much to sell because either we don't tend to buy books (use the library instead) or when I do buy them I read them over and over and over and they tend to be in no fit state to sell by the time I am fed up with them!!

    But I would recommend it to anyone!! Get hunting through your book/DVD shelves!!
