That's not fair - I have actually opened and am still paying into my Legal & General ISA and they have not even tracked yet!!!! It is one of my enquiries.

I need to get my car tax today - so that is money that will disappear out of my bank account....bah......but the second car was valeted to within an inch of its life, so is all nice and shiny ready to be sold (when I find the paperwork!).

Wow those books are flying off your shelves! What kind of books are you selling (if you don't mind my asking). I've sold lots of books in the past, but my current offering of 120 books is just sitting there. I haven't sold any in a fortnight.

Re coffee - definitely take a flask! Put it on your desk in full view of your colleagues and you will feel very stupid going out for a coffee when they all know you have brought your own.

Hi Seaxwyn - there is nothing fab about any of the stuff I am selling - some of it is "coaching" style books that I bought with great enthusiasm when I started working for myself........but actually never used Plus a couple of the children's DVDs have sold - Disney ones generally.

I have sold 6 out of the 16 things that I listed - so I am pretty pleased with that. It will definitely spur me on to list more in due course - but I have to decide how ruthless to be. (I think I need to be pretty ruthless, really)

Sadly, we don't have much in the way of CDs, DVDs etc to sell - we never got into (because we couldn't afford to) the habit of buying them, so the only ones we have are either odd presents, or ones that we "really" want to keep - the type that you can watch over and over and over again!

Listed one thing on ebay before work........have more to do this evening.

Re coffee - it is only a small flask and I have my first cup now, as I speak. I should be able to get one more cup out of it, and then I have to resist the latte urge!!!

That's good going - I have sold one - but all mine are "text" book type things where I had duplicates. We have 1000s of CDs (literally - OH is a musician) - but I think putting them on ebay would be grounds for divorce around here :rotfl:- so will have to come up with other things to sell!
