Absolutely - the cheek of taking their name of the watching lists!
KM has a really good idea about the flask, hypno. I bought a flask at Asda a few weeks ago - its one third of a litre, only costs £1.96, and I've used it twice, so its already paid for itself (this is my cup of tea when I get the train home from London). :money: :money: :money:
Who was it up the thread who called lattes poncey? Got to agree :rotfl: I like Americano with coffeemaker.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
 I've been lurking for a while on your diary to try and vicariously gain more energy through you
but not had anything to say! However, the coffee thing definitely resonates - defo try a flask! I had the same problem whereby I would have to get a cup of coffee from the vending machine every afternoon at the 4pm energy dip... and since the chocolate machine was just next to it I'd get a bar of chocolate too... seems you and I have similar weaknesses
Anyway, this was neither very healthy nor very moneysaving, so I've started bringing a flask to the library when I go to work there. I've got quite a nice one which I nicked off my parents and it keeps the water warm for ages; I can still have a nice hot coffee using it late in the afternoon. Means you can have as much coffee as you want without feeling guilty
and just tell everyone that your coffee machine at home makes the best coffee so you've decided to bring in your own!

Well,, have been a good bob, and listed loads this afternoon. I have sold one already, but will be looking at other sources, as suggeste by ISOM, and of course the car boot.xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

Right, that's better - have had some food!!
No more sales on amazon/ebay, but a couple of items have 2 watchers, and one has 4, so I am hoping for a few sales over the next few days.
Just waiting for a matched bet to settle for a profit of about £35 and will also get a refer-a-friend bonus of £12.50 in a few days or so, plus went through quidco for another £12 and also noticed that £20 has been received finally for my Alliance & Leicester savings account I opened so.......not bad!!!
I still have two enquiries outstanding totalling £230, though.......it would be lovely if they could get resolved.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I did not think I had done canbet, but when I signed up, it seemed to think I was already a customer, so I must have done them at some point in the past
Matched bet settled, so.......my mini challenge updates so far are as follows:
Matched betting/games etc £500 aim................current total £54.34.
Ebay/Amazon/Car boots - aim £1000..................current total £53.63 (this includes last week's car boot, so is cheating a little)
Quidco - aim £200.............................current total £20.12 received
Mystery shopping and surveys - aim £100............current total £0
A reasonable start has been made!!!!! I have some more matched betting I can do at the weekend, which will hopefully get me another £35 or so within the next week or so, and a mystery shop lined up for Saturday.
