I'm really pleased that things have turned a corner for you & your DH.

But I think it has shown that your finances are pretty shaky - it wouldn't take much to go wrong and the whole thing would come tumbling down. I definitely think you should think hard about your mortgage - you've got a bit of breathing space at the moment, the way things are with NR, being in negative equity is not a safe place to be. If I were you, I'd be looking at my business and maybe not putting so much money back in, and either saving or paying off your loans. And in the longer term, maybe looking at the situation with your horses, because it doesn't seem that you have the financial security to have quite so many animals, so perhaps that is something you might work towards changing gradually, so that you aren't forced into a hasty decision if your situation changes in the future.

    Good luck with everything!!
