Sorry I meant to say most of the cheapest capped ADSL packages I've been looking at have got 2Gb download limits.
I agree with what's been said about v21's webpage being terrible! I can't read the T&Cs regarding cancellation or anything, and this makes me a little nervous, though they are more than helpful over the phone.
Thanks for all the comments and advice...I'm still looking!0 -
A lot of companies can be "helpful" over the phone - but unfortunately, I don't take anything for granted unless I can see the small print confirming so.
Some ISP's have a habit of promising things via their Sales lines, but fail to deliver their verbal promises.0 -
Does anyone have any experience with v21?0

There are reviews of v21 HERE. There are some good reviews and a lot of poor ones. Seem a bit hot and cold.
I was with Fast4 before changing to broadband. They are part of v21 and I wouldn't recommend them. There is a long thread about them in these forums.0 -
Yeah I've read the reviews, but there doesn't seem to be anything posted about it recently re the £9.98 plus 'freetalk' deal.
Since this is an annual contract, it actually works out almost the same price as the e7even £170 annual 512k deal, and with all those bad reviews, a dodgy looking webpage, I'm not sure whether to stay well away. And if I go with e7even...well it may be a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire!0 -
e7 seem to be great for virtually everybody - check the referrers thread - you can also save money that way too making it a bit cheaper. To infinity and beyond!0

I have been using e7even for just over a month now - they seem really good. Only had one problem with the network being down, and they extended everyones contract for a week because of the days hassle. They have just offered me an upgrade to 2mb per month for the 23mths I am left with them and a further 4mth extension for £50. Unfortunately my line cant support it or id have snapped it up. They also are offering me an 8mth extension to my 1mb connection for £50 hmmmm.
Anyway I was with AOL before and am so glad I got away from them. If you need any more info Pm me or post here.
