airers emptied of dry things. The ironing pile is clear again and only took about an hour today. DH got me the new duvet for DS and both beds are now made up with fresh sheets/new bedding. We can probably make up the spare bed now ready for if anyone needs to stop, and perhaps put my hospital bag on it as i am fed up of tripping over it.

DH also managed to spend £45 on tools, but i can forgive him that if he uses them. ;)

DH currently tidying up the garage a bit. I suppose i should get on and sort some veg for dinner, as it won't do itself, and DS will be waking up soon from his nap.

Got back from shopping. It is now absoloutely bouncing it down, but I am not giving in yet. It will brighten up later and mine line full of soggy laundry will dry beautifully  .

OH got a call from his sister whilst we were out. His son had 'borrowed' her car late last night and taken it for a spin over the moors with his mate. He crashed into a wall and had to be cut out by the fire brigade. Luckily, appart from concussion and cuts and bruises, he is ok. He is normally such a sensible and quiet lad, I can't believe he's been so stupid. Obviously his mum is furious with him, but is just glad he is in one piece.

As my OH was growing up, he lost several good mates in car accidents.

His mum plans to take him back to where it happened and show him the remains of the car at some point, to show him just how lucky he was. Hopefully he has learnt a big lesson.

Best go see what th edinner is doing as I'm starved despite scoffing a curly wurly when walking dog, and hope DD eats her tea as she ate 3 chocolate bars while walking round  . and oops still no cleaning done :o

PS meant to say to prettypennies glad the lads got no more than cuts n bruises, me and OH have seen a few too many not make it

    Rant Alert
Haven't read through yet as i'm going to choke my children. Their all in bed, DS2 who's potty training was outside playing and came in to tell me he had done a poo but didn't make it to the potty.

So i take the trousers off and pants, it's spread all down the legs and his feet is plastered. He had taken his shoes off out in the garden. So i'm wondering why it's round his feet, go outside and DD and DS1 looking very suspicious.

DS2 had poo'd in the grass, stood on it, lifted it and wiped it all over the bikes and toys as did DS1 and DD.

I swear i can't deal with them today at all, and i'm seriously thinking of taking away all their toys and hiding all their out door toys, telling them i throw them away for bad behavior. They got ate yesterday for wiping poo all over the place and then they do it again today. Plus my gob is still sore.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

((hugs)) Vanilla. Sounds like you could do with some of the rain that is lashing down here at the moment.

When my sons went through the smearing phase, my health visitor made out it wasn't normal for kids to that sort of thing. But the number of times I have read about other people's kids doing it since has made me realise it is a normal but really bl00dy annoying phase all the little darlings seem to go through.

My sympathy is with you. Just when you think they have pushed you as far as they can, they manage to outdo themselves.

I really wish I had kept a diary. Because although they were the toddlers from hell, I can actually look back at it and laugh now.

Well managed to make a loaf and some rolls - former looks fine not so sure about the rolls. Wasn't too difficult either so quite pleased with myself. OH has been doing housework and he dyed my hair so no more grey roots, what a star!

Going to tackle some more shredding and filing tonight, trying to keep up the momentum.

    Vanilla - what a nightmare

AnW - hope a second night under canvas is as good

Michelle - get some rest, you seem to be on top of all the housework etc now
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

Thanks Hippy, just got back with A. She had a great time and wants to go again :) When we got home W said 'close your eyes A' then he led her to the back garden and showed her 'his' tent! They have decided to sleep out there tonight. So now I shall make sure A knows how to page me from one of the landline handsets so that I can keep an 'eye/ear' on them from inside later on.

They are plotting who is sleeping where and what goodies they are going to have for their midnight snack.

It has been spotting with ran on and off all day so I hope it doesn't develop any further so that they can sleep out there.

    Hi guys

Glad it was a good night AnW'smum :)
Dusty yes I was still in bed, it was a busy night :D:o;)

done the bathroom today and the cloakroom toilet, done the kitchen (again) hoovered right through downstairs, done some washing, other bits and pieces so I'm pleased with that, just bunged some jacket spuds in the microwave to have with cheese & salad for tea miam miam!

Went window shopping at Jarrow today - it just happens to be where Home Bargains is too oops! I did only spend £3 and that was on food/pack-up stuff and one wee stocking filler for christmas AND it came out of my float that I give myself for odds and sods so I'm chuffed at my self-control. :A

We've got the fish in the tank now and littleys playing out, teenies out, DD1 is chuffed cause FIL said the guy (his cousins son) that told her about the job at T-Mobile is actually quite high up and had recommended her and will split the £500 bonus he gets for doing that with her  .......I gave her a list of stuff i've got my eye on lmao she said "As if" *pouts*

right, micro's pinged so I'm off to grate some cheese

Kaz email received, looks fab, thank you, thats another one for me to try :D yummy.

Well I haven't done lots, but not done too badly. I've spent the last hour trying to figure out how to book/organise a holiday in Florida and how much it'll cost so I can work out how much I need to save etc and I am NO further forward at all! I have only ever booked one holiday abroad which was a weekend break in Paris for DPs birthday before the boys were born and I am clueless. Think I might have to post on the holidays board :o

I didn't get the baking done because my scales went on the blink, I think I have fixed them now so might make some hobnobs in a mo.

Got a mountain of dry laundry to put away which I am going to do while the boys hopefully do some of their room as they have been upstairs 'playing' which consists of empty every toy box!
One day I might be more organised...........
