Wow well done tia,
I didnt get that much done. Went in the kitchen to find DD(9yrs) with the oven on the mixing bowls and leccy mixer out with a recipe book and slopping cocoa powder with boiling water all over the work surface from the espresso cup she was trying to mix it up in  and that was after I caught her yesterday trying to tip some mixture she'd made over the garden wall into the lane - experiment I think she called it, but there was cocoa powder, talcum powder, ovaltine, banana milkshake mix and gord knows what else    . Why does she think she's just allowed to do what she wants.
So worksurfaces cleaned again and washing sorted 1st lot on now. also separated one of DD's tops that has a jacket attached so that I can try and repair one of the press studs that has come apart on the jacket.
I now have another cuppa - anyone :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: like one and a handful of Kalms - dosage says 2, 3 times a day but 6 at once will work wont it, dont care if I'm high as a kite if they work and i'm scoffing nuts n raisins.
lilme you can come to tea anyday, my favourite is cheesy nachos with chilli n rice, mmmmmmmm to die for. Spanish stew is a big one pot thing with chicken thighs (so cheap) chorizo, baby new potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, onions, garlic etc. Will try and email the recipe as I scanned it into a file but it might be a big one so will see. Sausage pasta is a very quick n easy. Cheap pasta - usually Mr T's value penne, 2 mins from end of cooking time throw in a jar/can of chooped hot dog sausages, drain then mix in a little tub of Dolmio stir in sauces think we use the sweet pepper one, heat through about a minute and bung in bowls for the kids. For a more grown up version just add bag of mixed salad and fresh baked bread.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Still sorting out my kitchen cupboards - why have I got 2 jars of whole cloves and 2 jars of ground coriander? - both of which I use once in a blue moon!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Hello everyone
Lil_me - Long walk off short pier springs to mind - don't let the b*@%$~# grind you down! ((((hugs))))
Will finish catching up later as I'm off to DS's GF's as they need help to set up their Wii.Plug & Play? Oh well, they're supposed to be short of money, but if they've bought that, they'll be even shorter which will delay the house move!:j
Anyway, I lost my purse yesterday and neither St Anthony, pinning the devil or retracing my steps worked.so I called and cancelled cards. Guess what I found behind the breadbin?
And another good thing - I've been advertising (for free) my Mum's folding table and chairs for £65 for almost a year. This morning I had a call, they came and bought it for £60 on the spot - someone who works for my brother! Off to the house of Doom and Gloom! Back later.

Main food cupboards now sorted and fruit crumble in the oven. I now know what's in the freezer and cupboards and what I need to buy.
I suppose I could do a meal plan now...we'll see.
DH has just decided to eat some toast for his dinner so I bet he won't want any tea after I've already defrosted the meatballs.
Hope everyone's having a good day.

Dishes done, couldn't be !!!!!d to dry them so they are sitting on the draining board. I've given the yard a quick tidy, and will finish it tomorrow, at least it's not covered in dog poo now.
Time for another cuppa, anyone joining me? :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee:
