Anyone watching Grand Designs Live this week? Looks like it could be good, just hope I remember to watch/tape it all!!

It was on my viewing list then I noticed tonight it clashed with half a dozen other things I want to watch also (typical  ) Flood won so I'll be giving it a miss tonight, but will be watching the rest, I love Grand Designs.

    Cant stay away today :D

Roast chicken all done and kitchen is a massive tip again. Oh has gone to work again and just waiting for DS to come home from his dads, DD is on the PS2 despite not cleaning her room again and I just feel plain kernackered. All I want to do is sleep but I need to get on with some housework, I mean REALLY need to, there are bundles of fluff all over the floors and the stairs.

Still I should be grateful I dont have the poo problems, poor Vanilla, I think I'd go mental if I were in your shoes. When you're calmer is it worth asking them Why they put it everywhere, or even make them clean it up, it'll make them think twice about doing it maybe

Glad you liked the recipe lilme, its a shame the rest wouldnt go as there are some brill ones on the file but it was 17MB and could only upload 16!

embb I am totally in awe of you, how do you manage to chieve so much of your cleaning in a day.

AnW'smum you deffo get coolest mum award today, hope the rain holds off tonight for them

So do I just plod on and do something or sleep for 1/2 hour then get on.

Mmmmm sleep wins I think :shhh:

I'm not going to be around for a while ladies. I've got some personal matters to deal with which I won't be going into here as it's not for public display. But I will say this, my plan is to :
    1. Relocate to another house at least, if not another town. I can't stand being in this house anylonger.
    2. Get a job, any job as long as I am capable of doing it I'm going to do it. If it means I have to spend the next 3 years upto my elbows in other peoples poo then so be it.
    3. Carry on with my studies. I AM going to do my degree, I AM going to train to be a teacher and I'm going to make a damn good one too!
    4. Be the best mum in the world to DD, give her all the support and love anyone could possibly need, give her everything I can, and help her to become a confident, world-wise, young lady who is able to fend for herself no matter what the world throws at her.
I just want to say thank you for all the support and help you've given me over all my time here on MSE, and especially since ex and I started having problems and split up. You are all stars, and deserve all the happiness in the world. If it wasn't for you lot I don't think I would have had the courage to go back to studying and make something of myself. Thank you.

Nicki - signing off for the foreseeable future. xxx

Halfway through giving the oven a deep clean, but keep popping back to check on a purse on ebay.

I have one I bought years ago from Next with a wrist strap on. It is literally falling to bits. I have spotted exactly the same purse for sale on Ebay and am getting ridiculously giddy about winning it. How sad is that!!!

Ooooh, I've just spent the last few hours having such fun with Google Earth! (I know, I know, I really SHOULD get a life!). I discovered it lets you stick little pins in places and label them. And you can save the labelling for later.

So, I've been through all the old ancestors I want to investigate on my holiday in a couple of weeks time and stuck pins with labels in the places they lived and have now printed them off one by one. I shall stick them all together after dinner. I have zoomed in maps showing houses and zoomed out maps showing each pin in relation to each other in the various areas.

I also looked at the old maps website and found a sneaky way of printing off what they don't want you to print off ;) because they want you to buy.... so I have some of those as well.

Teehee - I'm quite looking forward to my holiday now - as long as it doesn't rain too much!

Nicki, hun, hugs and stuff. I shall miss you. I hope all goes well with the future and would be really grateful of you popped in even if it's just occasionally, to let us know how you're getting on.
