Well I know how I'm going to be spending the weekend - trying to work out my budget since I'm not entitled to have all my rent paid apparently  The allocation is up to £115 a WEEK for this area on new rules, my rent is £85 a week and they're saying they'll only pay £75 of it when I was told when I applied I would be entitled to full benefits!:mad: Oh and apparently DD has been entitled to free school meals since the 17th March - nice of them to let me know!:mad::mad:

Soooo I'll be sitting down with a pen and paper, writing everything down and go on all the comparison websites to see if I can cut any of my bills. I know I can cut my BT phone bill - currently at £40 a month, by signing up to that discount call thing for mobiles... will look at it tomorrow when I won't have DD around and I've had a good sleep. :o

WM on load 2, 2 more to go in, but one needs the cleaning cloths putting through on a rinse first to get rid of all the ick

Right, list time. Only level 1ing, maybe slightly higher but we'll see, only leaving what I plan to do on the list :p

      • Put up DD's corkboard
      • Bag of mending (find missing buttons!)
      • Update CV
      • Files on computer sort out - 15 minutes at a time
      • GET DD'S STUFF OUT FOR GOING AWAY

right, achieved more than i thought today, and mostly with DS's 'help'
    • emptied 1x big airer and 2 x rad airers
    • clothes folded and put away
    • WM - one load of DH's jumpers, which i will hang on airer upstairs after neighbours
    • washed up breakie and lunch dishes from today
    • washed cat bowls - fed cats
    • made a strawberry whip for tea
    • dealt with post - shredded the carp
    • reminded DH to write and post his brothers birthday cards
    • brought in recycling containers, put any recycling from today out in them
    • wiped kitchen surfaces
    • cleaned the microwave
    • cleaned the dining table and mats again
    • spot-wiped mucky bits of laminate flooring in DR/LR with a baby wipe
all baby steps, but i am keeping on top of this little house, and i am not going to let children get in the way of that.

pigpen  at all the exam stress in your house. At least SATs are all over in the next couple of weeks. Is that maybe what had some of the monkeys out of bed lasst night?

No I think they were just being horrors.. well tonight they'll be worn out I'm kicking them all out in the garden until bed time.. even if it is raining!!

Tiddles is still asleep on the sofa.. she has been there since 11am!!

I've updated my finance sheets which was very depressing.. I'm doing a sneaky this month though.. I'm using commission as payments on 2 catalogues and I'm paying a lump sum off my credit card then using the credit card to pay the outstanding bills which I won't be able to pay otherwise.. then when I have a flush month I'll pay the credit card off and bin it!

I'm looking at £850 to pay out still this month.. that'll be the child benefit and 3 lots of tax credits gone.. ooh.. I need hubby's pay slip too for tax credits.. if I don't nag he won't bring it home..

I had to do the Doggy Doo Dodge yesterday (aka walking to school). Because we live a bit further away from school now we are never really in time to walk so tend to drive. It really annoys me when people don't pick up after their dogs.

 This drives me mad!! Why do people get pets if they don't want to be responsible & clean up after them  It annoys me as I always pick up after my pooch and it's not difficult, and not perticularly gross if you use the 'hand in the bag' method.

Better get going, as I'm meeting my friend in 30 minutes, and I'm not dressed yet.

Been to Morrisons and Lidl, very close to each other to make the most of the bargins at each. Also have an Ocado shop coming tomorrow of BOGOFS. Hoping to visit Sainsbury and Tesco two over the weekend and then should be stocked up on most things for a while except for veg/meat etc. Going to look again at a box scheme.

Have made up with hubbie , we were both wrong, so at least that is not dwelling on my mind.
