    Morning ladies

Still hanging on here, didn't think i still would be, but i am. Slow day here i think.

DH did some weeding in the front garden last night to fill up the recycling bin. Think i guilted him into it from the other day when i did some of the back garden.

This morning all the recycling schemes are out for collection, I've been playing with DS who never seems to tire of his fishing jigsaw, and just pottering really. Just gave the kitchen sink another wipe - it gets so grubby. Don't really feel like doing anything, so i will just see what i can manage as i see it.

moj2 hope the driving is manageable, and the funeral isn't too taxing on you today.

taffy *wave* don't feel so bad. Do what you can

right, off to do PB clicks and my internet banking while DS watches barney. Just having a cuppa, then i guess back to playing with him. I am concious not to get grumpy today as i know we have had some lovely days this week, and if i act tired and grumpy he will start paddying.

    See you all later girls.
    Michelle, x

Thanks, and isnt it just?! I have no idea how I'm going to keep up with this thread in my quick 10 min pop on each morning! :rotfl:

I fit in the housework around my time on this thread :rotfl:
  • Morning,

Tia - hope everything goes well today.

taffy - be kind to yourself - doing big tasks at home and then chucking kids into the mix is hard enough. Don't beat yourself up - just do what you can.

ok I need to go meet mum for lunch today - I need to leave in an hour. I don't know exactly when I will get round to sorting the house - it will be done though.

Have a good day everyone and I hope the sun is shining where you are x

I'm going to prise my @rse off this chair in a minute. No, really I am.

I've hung out a load of washing from yesterday
Washed one lot of bedding - need to hang it up
    Put on another load
Made dough for bread rolls (practice run - need to make some for a friend's wedding blessing on Sunday)

    Still need to do

    washing up
    Change all the beds
    Vacuum upstairs
Vacuum sofa (full of cake crumbs again )
    Flick a duster around
    Sweep and mop kitchen floor
Made pizza dough for dinner tonight
Make a half-hearted effort at tidying childrens' rooms (actually DS isn't too bad but DD1 is really really untidy)

I had to do the Doggy Doo Dodge yesterday (aka walking to school). Because we live a bit further away from school now we are never really in time to walk so tend to drive. It really annoys me when people don't pick up after their dogs. It's usually slap bang in the middle of the pavement . Theoretically there is a £1000 fine for anybody who doesn't pick up after their dogs. I wonder how many have actually been fined (must check with my MHK about that - I bet it's none).

    I'm going now - one, two, three . . . . . . UP!

DD's sega stuff is selling on ebay :D She'll be happy - I said she could have the money raised (minus fees etc which should be covered by my postage charge anyway ;) ) and she said she wants to buy a DSlite or a Wii  Oh well, we'll see :rotfl: Right, off to strip my bed again as it felt icky this morning  and tidy through upstairs. Need to go to the job center for 11.10, so I think I'll find my trainers and take a book with me - the finance one from my course which I start tomorrow will fit in my handbag (its a big bag :rotfl: ) so I'll take that ;) Need to leave here in about 15 minutes and I still have washing to hang out!

    Done so far:

Get woken up at 5.30am by annoying DH
    DW, and WM
    DS1 to school
    Client letters written
    April invoices done
    Childcare voucher payment set up
lamb and chickpea curry in the slow cooker (thanks again for the links)
got cash for e bay man
tidy patio so ebay man does not trip over 10 000 toys and chicken poo
    bins out, recycling out, etc

    to do
take cat to vets for post op check
tidy LR/Playroom - nice man is delivering my chaise longue and the only wide enough door is through the LR/Playroom, which is a complete tip again
tidy anything visible out of the back windows - like the ironing mountain that is on the DR window ledge
find an upholstery course so i can recover the CL, and make window seats for upstairs.

Serena - yes it is our wisteria and it is one of the reasons why we bought the house. Seems to be held up by will power alone though, DH is blacksmithing some supports. I think we would be drummed out of the village if anything happened to it. South facing stone wall 20 metres long - and they filled the rest of it with pyracantha?!?! (sp?)

I got to bed at 12:30am.. at 3:15am DD3 and DD4 were awake and running amok.. every light was on downstairs and the loo, bathroom and landing.. I told them off put them back to bed.. 3:45 I was up again.. both got a slap and placed back in bed.. at 6am.. they were up again.. they had woken Tiddles up this time too.. they were growled at and put back in bed with a death threat. at 7am DS2 came into my room asking for his dinner money.. he doesn't need to leave until 8 so I refused to give him it.. and made him go do breakfast for the 3 little ones as they were squealing and being noisy... at 7:30 DD2 came in asking for DD2's dinner money who doesn't need to leave until 8:15am...

At which point I chucked a big strop.. kicked hubby out of bed and stayed there for another 10 minutes peace!!

    I am now shattered!!!
