thanks pigpen....i'm not very good at fighting my own corner but when it comes to fighting for my children it's a whole different ball game. dd came to me this morning and said she was really proud to have me as her mum and she was glad someone was sorting these children out. i guess she's still too young for me to be totally embarrassing:rotfl: .

 i've had two more phone calls from teaching assistants offering me their support. shows how bad it must be if they're taking my side over the head teacher. what have I started :o ?

i've s/s the kitchen and my clinic. a friend is popping round for a one handed hot stone massage. she's going to tell me what she thinks of it as a few clients have asked if i'd do one handed treatments:rotfl: - do i charge them half price???:D xx

I'm about 8 pages behind so haven't time to catch up. But I have read your posts about the class Mudbath and am appalled. My DS is in year 4 but luckily is in a well-behaved school. The education of everyone is affected by these awful children and it really angers me when I read about them. Obviously some people couldn't care less about the behaviour of their offspring. Maybe that's the way the parents are too? I hope the headteacher is helpful and willing to do something about it.

Look after that thumb of yours too!

Right I have 7 hours to do complete the lists posted so far plus the other rooms plus some 'paid' work. A series of HHCs is in order. OH has just rung me and said someone got their days mixed up and he is on a flight this pm not tomorrow eve, don't think after 4 weeks away he was too impressed with my 'OMG you're coming back tonight, sh**!' Caffeine and lots required NOW!
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

Thank you to all who post competitions & help the smooth running of the comps board

Speaking of badly behaved children.. in DD3's class (year 2/6-7 year olds) there are 4 little gitbags... they have a 'behaviour chart' on the wall.. and now DD3 wants one so she is being a !!!!!!.. she has been refusing to do her work and rolling about under the tables and on the whole heading for a smacked bottom! Today she said she was tired because she had to carry her lunch box and her sisters.. it wouldn't fit on the buggy like it normally does because of the 2 carriers of carriers lol.. Yesterday she told my sisters boss I hit her with a shoe!! the worst of that is he believed her!! I said if she tells lies like that again I WILL hit her with a shoe then she will be telling the truth.. lying little .. thing!!

i've had a brain wave :j i'm going to print out these daily lists and laminate them, then i can cross off as i go along. will pin them up in the kitchen.
i expect lots of you organised people already do that! but i'm new to all this and feeling quite excited about the prospect of getting on top of all the chores:D

5.gif Not a bad idea. Does laminating cost very much? I could do that myself.
