Thanks Mudbath and Luby-lou. Links dont seem to be working today, even using cut and paste. I have seen the recipe index, and did a roast chicken on Sunday. Tender but rather tasteless - a freedom foods one so not a bad chicken to start with IYSWIM. DH convinced I have wasted £16 - so I am after a recipe to convince him.

I used the HHC to work through the boys clothes sorting out for charity shop etc.

Back again, did not get too wet this time. Since being in DS3 has popped a bag of chrisps all over the floor and fallen off the rocking horse and banged his head.

Going to spend half an hour tidying the kitchen before I attempt to cook some dinner.

The Brioche I brought in Aldi went down really well - have any of you ever made your own?

So looking forward to the Apprentice tonight

I have just been reading lots of posts and it seems lots have bother with kids and money at the moment. Is it possible to get uniform grants still? I remember tham being available when our kids were little. We didn't qualify for them then so don't know much about them.

And a question from me. The CC have decided to cut the bus myDS3 gets to college and when I rang to find out what the college can do to help I found that he is behind in 15 out of twenty assignments. In other words he can't pass the course and we had loads of rows/discussions and he has decided to leave and get a job. We get £200 Child tax credit and CB for him each month, does it stop the day he leaves college or do we get it until he is working? He tells me tomorrow is his last day!

I am already supporting a 19 yr old with no job and will have a 22 yr old to feed, wash for etc in the summer.

The best bit of all this stress is that I have got some amazing pain killers form the GP and have tidied and wiped the frustrations away. The downstairs is beautiful and my bathrooms are gleaming.
