Weekly Flylady Thread 28th April 2008

Chasing Butterflies - ask my 16 month old about keyboards - she managed to remove 3 keys in about as many seconds!

Here's the done list for today:
drop slow cooker off for friend
take all washing upstairs (not put away yet though)
empty and refill dishwasher
tesco shop
dry more washing
do dd's reading (dh did that)

Have also decided that DD2 and I will have cod, potato, green beans, parsley sauce for lunch and then had leek & potato soup and that jaffa cake flan thing for pudding - sounds really yummy!

Feel like I've lost my way a bit - probably just hormonal as AF due - so baby steps for me this week I think.

Michelle - thinking of you hun! I had really strong, take-your-breath away BH for months before the birth of both DD's but the labour pains itself were more like period pains - very low down. Saying that you did say you went to 38 weeks with your DS....
SSL - like the house photos - you have obviously been a very good flylady!
Ashbart - what kind of pastry did you use for your pasties?

POST 6600!!!!!

I have 8 of my knitting books turbolistered ready for Thursday.. it is a bit like cutting off your arm getting rid of these.. I looked at putting them on amazon but the big sellers undercut those who need cash by a huge amount and the fees are about 10 times ebay fees... I'll stick with ebay! Where do Amazon get off charging £2.95 postage yet only give the seller 88p???

DD is fine, thank you all for the good wishes. She's very tired and a bit sore, but she dragged DS off to town in a taxi (without his wheelchair which was in the back of my car!) this afternoon, so she can't be too bad! I don't think she should have done it, but, hey, I'm only her mother. What do I know?

Bunnies with wings? Is that instead if chicken? :rotfl:

Soappie - I never think it's my fault. It's always DH's (coz it usually is.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) Glad the ring is safe anyway though.

Killer Kitchen - Monday

Clean the gacky filters and drawers from DW's, WM's etc
[strike]Wipe the cupboard fronts, all the appliances [/strike]
Empty and clean out the fridge.. including the drain hole bit at the back..

Mad Tuesday - Living room, Hallway, Stairs
[strike]Open the windows and let in some fresh air[/strike]
[strike]Vacuum floors and sofas[/strike]
[strike]Vacuum under the furniture you can move[/strike]
[strike]Clean windows, pictures, mirrors etc.[/strike]
[strike]Change any lightbulbs that need doing![/strike][strike]Wipe woodwork in the hall and stairs & wipe front door.. inside and out! [/strike]
Wash any nets/curtains that need cleaning.. put up fresh ones!
15 minutes filing

[strike]DS2 to nursery[/strike]
WM and TD load
HHI
Toss cushion covers in the WM
[strike]Collect DS1 and DS2[/strike][strike]
[/strike][strike]Take DS2 to his TUESDAY appointment :rotfl: [/strike]
Sort and start photographing eBay stuff - target £69.99 for wii fit



Anyway, thats me for the night. I am sure I did more stuff in amongst that but I can't remember.

Oh yeah.. great idea.. then you'll be incapable of anything cos you'll have done yourself in as well!! lol

I'm needing £600 next month.. or else we are in schtick.. that isn't going to happen is it?? I scraped £230 this month!

Lol, I aint even started it yet! :rotfl: besides, DH will cave in well before I amke that much.

That must have changed. Will need to check that out before I re-list.

Is there an e**m with your course? OH would have been in a mess with one since you seem to have been doing most of the work.
Well if he is giving up on the course he will just have do do more of the house work to help you.

Hope to be back and post properly tomorrow. Still not had the chance to sort the vac out, but dailies done. Definitely on a serious job hunt now - sick of still being on work laptop at 9.30 - 10.00 printing off resources for next day's lesson! Yes, I know I'm only on site for 5.5 hours, plus travel, plus marking time, plus prep time - soon runs into 9 - 10 hour day. Spoke to agency today and girl asked why I was looking. I said I want 9 - 5 or even 8 - 6, but knowing that when I pack up for the day, that's it till next morning! Off to bed, so night night b ut with happy birthing vibes to Michelle.
