Pigpen Did you get to Whitby?

I decided not to go as there was so much needed doing in here and also I didn't have any money to spend so it was pointless going... how is that for willpower?

Mudbath that's probably what I would do to be honest, I find it awful how badly some children behave in school now, I am doing this degree as I did want to go into primary school teaching but the horror stories are putting me off a bit. I must say when I have been in DS2s school most of the children are absolutely lovely, most of them border on angelic which is sort of scary, there is only one little girl someone could probably do with taping up her mouth (lippy little so and so who you just get attitude from but she doesn't throw things etc - well off family and spoilt brat to be honest!), but these are infants rather than junior age. I am sure we'll see the little spikes pop out of their heads when they get to junior school, then the dreaded senior school.

DS2 eventually in bed, he's been a yoyo for the last 2 hours almost, bonus is I did manage to do some reading study wise and watch bits of tele in the middle. I am considering shower then rest of studying because I don't have time on a morning, I'm waffling because I can't decide what to do for the best, maybe I should just get on with it.....:o I know why, this is my comfort zone, on here talking to you lot, feels safe, cared about (big thank you for my hugs) so it's not nice having to switch that support off and deal with real life.

Oh and noo noo's (vacuum cleaners) I love my Dyson, I hated my first one but this ones fab, I tried a friend's Henry and it doesn't get up the pet hair well enough for me (I got the Dyson Animal but you can buy the turbo brush etc seperate)
One day I might be more organised...........

Fingers Crossed Michelle, hugs to lil_me and anyone else who needs them.

Thanks for the pics skintscotslass - love your kitchen & front room! What part of the country are you planning moving to?

ChasingButterflies re: your keyboard. If it is a standard keyboard, the keys can be 'popped' off by getting a pencil (or similar), putting the tip underneath and pulling upwards - the first one if the hardest but the rest just pop off after. I recommend starting in a corner as it's easier and for god's sake - make sure you remember WHERE they go or else we won't hear from you for weeks...

I made HM pasties tonight, even made the pastry (from packet mix) - it was lovely!!! As a result, I have lost all motivation to do anything else. Looks like I will be doing double time tomorrow evening.

Off to get ready for bed. I'm knackered and need to get some sleep for a big meeting tomorrow which is 2 hours away from the office... *Stomps away sulking*

Good night ladies. See you all tomorrow afternoon. Ash xx

:DGood then I won't panic if you vanish. I'm not always getting chance to post at the mo but do try to read some when I take a break.

Thanks soappie for the hug, I'm no saint, definately not, probably a mug would be a better description  I think especially after this which has upset me (had my cry so it's done) I need to be putting me first a bit more. I'm going to discuss with him if he's dropping out of the OU course completely and if he is what he's going to do to make it so I get sufficient study time, if he's sticking with it same applies. At the minute he barely lifts a finger and I can't play supermum, most helpful/supportive partner in the world and study all at the same time. I can't cope with being this stressed all the time. I must also rebook the hairdressers appointment (was supposed to be tomorrow) because I am sick of moving my hair all of the time.

Lil-me, I am now sending you the biggest of biggest hugs in the world and then big that up too.

Hun, please, do, take some time out for yourself. Get that hairdresser's appointment booked and go for it gal! I'm firmly zipping my lip here. I could say SOOO much but I won't. (Because it would probably incriminate me and, by default incriminate you too!

Just remember, you are an intelligent lady, you have lovely children, you're not doing that bad a job.... in fact, you seem to me to be doing an incredibly good job. You just need to get DP into shape a bit. I know that's probably a mountain you don't want to climb but you need to. Either that or leave him!

    xxxxxx
