michelle - waiting to hear some more news!

mudbath - I do secondary supply, and it has its moments! They nearly always play up, and there is very little you can do. On FridayI left a note for the usual teacher confessing that I had not managed to get one class to do any work at all. I saw her today, and she waas really nice about it, and said they are always horrible. The LSA said it hadn't been that bad a lesson, nothing got broken...

ssl - I've worked asa gardener for the last eight years, and have only relatively recently returned to teaching. The main problem with gardening is the awful pay. I can earn two weeks gardening in one day of supply. Glad you're enjoying the books. I can also recommend the videos/dvd's, probably from the library.

Worked today, may flit about the living room later, but very sleepy.

Does anyone know how you clean under the keys on a laptop?!:o

lmao my spelling can be terrible - but it doesn't help when you push a key it doesn't register :rotfl:

I find that making sure the 'puter is turned off, if you turn the keyboard upside down on the desk/table whatever and sort of tap it on the desk/table several all manner of interesting bits bits of miniscule hardcore (like breadcrumbs etc!) falls out.

    Then do the hoovery bit

Oh Michelle hope it turns into labour and is quick and smooth.

I haven't managed much else today except washing and i cleared the utility room. Gonna go now and put a few more things on ebay and i might wrap the things that have bids so it will leave it easier later.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

I've just popped in on the last page, off back to read what's been happening, Michelle, labour? Back in a mo *waves*.

I'm back, ok maybe it's a false alarm, see this is how chinese whispers start :rotfl: Michelle, keep us updated if you can.

Hope you are all well, big hugs for all ((hugs))

I've spent the majority of the day studying, haven't gone with DP tonight, I have refused as he was supposed to be doing this assignment aswell but like the last one he's threw a strop and said he doesn't want to do it any more. So me thinking we'd do it together (much easier but I do do most of it) it's now me on my own, it's due in tomorrow, it's not finished, I have a few things left to do, some I think I am going to just miss because I've tried my best, then write it all up properly. So instead of going to help him I have stayed in, played with the boys, fed them etc and sending them to bed at 8pm so I can start studying again. I'll have to drive through to embb land :rotfl: tomorrow to drop it off.

After I screamed and yelled at DP for completely letting me down, getting me to help him organise his things for the last few weeks, drop everything to do so thinking then he'd be with me when it came to studying, then lay on the sofa in a strop instead he did empty the dishwasher, which makes a change, other than that I've done the laundry (3 loads inc muddy coats from Sunday), vacuuming, meals, cleaned up after the dogs, refilled the DW and that's about it today housework wise.
One day I might be more organised...........

Lil-me - enormous hugs! xxxx I do think you're an absolute saint (or is it saintess?)

Well surveyor chap finally turned up just after 7pm. Told him what I want - he was muttering a lot - but will quote. It'll be an 'unofficial' job (my best friend's husband works for the same firm and came with the surveyor) so hopefully it'll come in OK finance wise. I just need to ponder over building regs and things ...

I did dust the fluffy bits of the living room surfaces but failed to hoover (or in my case, Dyson) simply because if I put the thing on, I wouldn't have heard the door bell ring. Now it's time to go make the chicken soup and put the BM on for the morning.

I've decided to list all my knitting books on amazon.. there are dozens so that should keep me occupied for a while!

My important payments for tomorrows pay day have been scheduled... and I've listed some more stuff on freecycle.

Off collecting tomorrow I think.. need to ring my mother to check.
