Im so sorry to hear about your loss. No words can make anyone feel better. Both my dad and uncel died from lung cancer just under 2 years ago. I had not seen my dad or his family in years as we had no contact so it made it so hard for me to grieve.
Last month my very close friends mum doed of cancer. I felt so sad that I was unable to help my friend as she lives abroad but I sent her messages and told her Id always be on the other end of the phone or msn if she needed me.If i could afford it, id go now to be with her but unfortunatly I cant afford it. My friends mum suffered a great deal of pain, now she is with the angels like your friend is. God bless you all x

    Very sorry for your friend.
It was really quick; maybe best in view of how much she must have been suffering.

I am thinking of you, and her husband.

Thanks Guys for all your kind words / replies. The funeral is on Wed this week. It will be the first time i have seen my friends husband as he has not wanted to see anyone and has the phone on answer phone.
He has taken this so so very bad. I know you never look forward to a funeral but i am kind of dreading this one even more than usual.
My husband says Thanks. He is in awe of the kindness we have received from everyone on here and is amazed "strangers" take the time to reply. (Not a MSE regular like me) I think he gets why i can spend hours on here now. Thanks again everyone xx
