onestopphoneshop

I'm thinking of buying an LG on the video and voice 1100 tariff from onestopphoneshop. It's a £394 cash back deal.
Are they good payers of cash back?
If not, can you recommend a different shop to buy the Phone
Thanks

  • Stick to the rules and send cashback claims registered delivery and they are fine.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Part of CPW.. can't go wrong.

Alternatively you can ask E2save for a pricematch, which they normally do

Make sure you send your redemption vouchers in time. They have a small validity period compared with most.
I was late (due to a heart attack) and got turned down even after appealing to the MD.

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.
  • Just thought I should let you know, my partner ordered a Moto V3 - they processed the order, left a week no phone spoke to a CS person and said it was out of stock and they didnt know when it would be instock. so cancelled the order. I ordered a sony P910i was told it wasnt in stock but would be in by the following monday. monday came headset had come but no phone, left it for another week still no phone, i was moving house at the time so a new mobile wasnt at of the top of my list to do so i left it another week. still no phone. i rang them and asked what was going on and i was informed that they still werent instock. so i cancelled my order (if they cant bebothered to let me know i cant be bothered to deal with them). here comes the punch line: a further 2 weeks later the phone turns up, i again ring them up and ask why have you sent me a phone that i have cancelled  , their very sorry they dont know why! and if i send it back to them recorded delivery they will refund my money. I said NO you can send some one to pick it up as i havent got the time or the money tobe waisting. which they did :) just got a bill from orange for a phone and contract that I've never used and have just sorted that out to make sure they dont take the money out of my account
SO THE LESSON TO LEARN IS DONT ORDER IT IF ITS NOT IN STOCK.
    cheers Rudy
  • Thanks very much. I ordered the phone (it is in stock)

The T&C for cash back are VERY specific

    1) Do not loose the vouchers they send.
    2) There is a difference between billing months and months connected!
    3) There is a small windows to apply for cashbacks. Mine is 35 days
    4) Make a calendar of what you need to do, check with OSPS cust services.
    5) Send items record (£98p well spent!)
    6) Call them a few days later to check the status of the cash back
    7) If they want some that you have forgotten mail them ASAP can call them back to check all is in order.

I've just applied for my second cash back....fingers crossed....
Will call them tomorrow and follow my own advice!

PS use the non geographic number !

If you get no joy from CS line call the sales line and shout. I've only had to do this once.
    Seth.

A number of threads relating to cheap deals have had suggestions that the person could ring E2save for a price match. Why is this? Are E2save particularly good for cashback? I'd like to know as I'm tempted by one of the offers shown in a different thread for Mobileshop but if E2save are so great I could try getting them to price match.

    Is the LG on 3?
The reason i ask is because the u8120,u8138 and u8130 were pretty rubbish at holding calls, i'm not too sure about the latest LG handsets.
