I have just bought some in sainsburys this morning. A bag was £1.100

Thanks.
I don't think that one is half fat though is it?
Its gotta be the half fat one.
I like it grated, because it goes further & you can use less, very PSE (pints saving expert:rotfl: ).
Sainsburys sell a half fat mozzarella ball in a white plastic bag. I haven't tried it however, so can't say anything else about it.0 -

I'm confused.
Is it hard mozzarella for grating or the buffallo mozzarella which I have never seen grated? If it's the former, Lidl sell it cheaply in blocks which I have grated with an ordinary grater or tesco sell it ready grated. Most places sell the buffallo type in a half fat version but, like I say, I've never seen it grated.

I'm really confused, now:rolleyes2 :embarasse :undecided    I've only ever seen soft mozarella; in a block, or "buffalo ba!!s" in juice. I've never seen hard mozarella.
I always worry what's in the fat-free half of cheeseCan anyone enlighten me? Is it actually lower in calories?

The buffalo one in the ball you can't grate.
The hard one you could grate. but its gotta be half fat anyway.

Microplane graters are easy to come by and then you can grate your own
Its not really anymore expensive grated (just the half fat mozz, I know other cheese is usually)
I know you can buy it, I just can't remember where.
I thought someone else might buy it & know.0 -

You have seen it you numpty. You just don't remember. It seems to be a dried version of buffallo mozzarella. Some of it is not real mozzarella though.
Sometimes it's called pizza cheese.
