Great News! This has really pulled me out of a hole. It's our anniversary on Sat and as our money situation is dire, a free day out is just what I needed. I'll pack a picnic and as I'm in Northern Ireland, an umbrella! Thanks for a great post!0

they are running "doors open days" in Scotland this monthJennyB wrote:Little Jaffa - there's a separate National Trust for Scotland but they don't appear to be running the same promotion sadly.

I know this is a money saving site but the National Trust is a Registered charity ( both in England/ Wales and Scotland) please leave a donation or join up if you go to visit any of the properties during the free period. They do some sterling work in the restoration of our heritage for all of us to see and enjoy.0

AnneOrd wrote:To the best of my knowledge the National Trust for Scotland is cheaper to join than the National Trust (England & Wales) but like the NT lets you visit properties in Scotland, the Scottish one lets you visit properties in England & Wales.
Maybe this should be on Tesco points as a query??? but as NT is mentioned is it then the case that if we join the NT Scotland with Tesco vouchers we can still visit all the England sites and you dont have to live in Scotland to join that one?
As everyone knows only NT scot is availble fot T vouchers for some reason and we would really like to join next spring.
That would be great. We'll be a able to go out for the day this weekend now.The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0
